Tico Tico

The best place I’ve been in Portugal. I strongly recommend any of the fish dishes, plus the shrimp soup.
The staff was also amazing and very kind.
I would go there every day if I lived in Lisbon 🤣❤

Incredible restaurant! The food was all very fresh, the grilled salmon nice and buttery. The service was fast, kind and pleasant. The prices are okay for what you get. The desserts are highly recommended. Overall, a great place for a nice, traditional dinner.

Great food, good presentation as well. Had BBQ cuttlefish, was excellent, nice and tender too...no reservations, but may need to lineup to be seated, very busy.

Good food. Grumpy and very defensive waiters. They are kind enough. Just stressed and emotional, I guess.
But the locals come for the food. And the food was good enough to overlook the service.
When I was there, Portugal women's football team was playing the qualifying against Crimea. So that added to the atmosphere.

Just had the most wonderful experience in Tico Tico! A truely, undoubtedly, portuguese local, traditional restaurant! The ones we see less and less in Lisbon unfortunately... forget about everything else, you want true typical food typical Lisbon style, you come to Tico Tico.
All the options on the menu are absolutely amazing but i highly recommend the Polvo a Lagareiro (Octopus) or the Bife do Pojadouro a Tico Tico (large think steak absolutely delicious).
Another word of gratitude goes for all the staff, the kind of people you don't find anymore serving their costumers as if they are their own family.
A fabulous time and a magnificent lunch with friends!

Amazing place to go to if you’re craving authentic local Portuguese food. I’m so glad a local introduced me to this restaurant. The Arroz de Tamboril was my absolute favorite! All the staff working there are so nice and friendly as well.

Waiters are legit. This is a traditional Portuguese place with great food. Take your foreign friends here

Comfortable food in Lisbon.
I was in Tico Tico Restaurant, it's a typical familiar place, since that entrance, you are recepcioneted like an old friend.
The menu is always actualized and the meals are fresh.
I agreed what  Daniel recomended me:  pescada's filetes, it's a fish with grelos vegetables and rice with spinach ( I questioned him what about the ingredients, he said me: ' It's a Chef's secret,  rsrs!)
The pescada was crispy on the outside and soft inside.
The rice was warm like a love huging.
Oh my God! It was delicius! The smell and taste remimded me of my  mother's home.
It's a perfect comfortable food when you are abroad.
I  lived an amazing experience!

We loved this place. Food was great and our waiter was really nice, spoke different languages. After 8pm it gets packed.

For me, the best restaurant in Portugal, in the elegant Alvalade neighborhood, far from the tourist crowds and almost like a well kept secret. A wonderful atmosphere, an historic restaurant, loved by all.

Fantastic experience, very nice staff, they don’t speak much English but communication is not an issue. Tiger prawns are a must try, so is the rest of the dishes actually.

A typical portuguese beerwery seafood in Alvalde the wonderful neighborhood of Lisbon.

The staff is great, they treat a customer like in the old times. Food is great and well served. Prices are acceptable.

I ordered 2 glasses of wine a 3 croquets, paid 11,50 euros.

So good! Grab a seat in the back at the bar for 1-2 people!

Tasty traditional food, incredible good and fast service.

If you want good seafood and amazing steaks, this is the place to go! I have been going to Tico Tico since I was 6 years old and quality is still the same.

Fantastic place! You have a great choice of seafood and fish of respectable quality and taste, but the best choices can be made in steaks. The two house specialities are the " croquet" as a starter. ( Tipicaly with some mostard) and the the " Bitoque do lombo à casa" as main course. All that with Bier ( Imperial) and finish with a"bica" - slang for coffee shot in Lisbon.
You will never forget, mainly if you look for a tipicaly "Dinner" Lisbon style.

It is always nice food and service. Has been around for decades and it does not disappoint. There are choices for everyone.
