A little pricy but absolutely worth it! We had the sirloin steak, baked peppers, garlic shrimp, and crispy chicken fingers. The dessert was a chocolate explosion, literally a chocolate explosion! We loved the little restaurant!

Best aged steak in portugal. Family only staff and amazing cozy decor. I or any of our 11 plus guests have gone back repeatedly. And you seafood lovers. There mussels are grilled in oak. I cant even begin to explain the flavor. 100% all around.

We absolutely loved the place! The food was very tasty and the service was lovely! We went with our dog and they were nice about it too which is a big plus for the place because not every place is pet friendly. I will definitely return here and in fact it will be one of my Valença routines from now on! Thank you for this wonderful experience :)

This place is amazing! We had basically one of each of the tapas, the pork shank and the beef chop. Don't make the mistake we made, get the sangria to start, both red and white are great. The service was fast and efficient, in and out in less than an hour.

Lovely place just by the river, where you can enjoy a delicious meal at a reasonable price. The service is quick and but not rushed.

High quality food. It was very good. Not the biggest Portion but more than worth the Money. They do Talk english aswell, i can only recommend it!

Delicious food, incredibly reasonable prices compared to other locations in town (very good size dinner for 4 with pudding and wine <€80), would recommend booking as people being turned away for tables. Lovely view over bridge and Tui. Would definitely recommend the prawns.

This a great bar, full of character a walk from the Spanish border bridge. Our party had tapas which was outstanding. If you're in Valença, do not miss going to this restaurant.

One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. Every dish was perfect. We had the caprese salad, the veg dumplings, the Alheira and the oven baked Camembert. And a very refreshing sangria. The second we were done our previous dish the next arrived, very impressed.

A small tapas/wine bar just on the outside of the fortress walls. Hugely popular with the locals. Sangria is super tasty and all the food we tried was perfect. Stuffed mushrooms, potatoes, squid, and goats cheese salad. Flavours of everything were wonderful. We'll be back again!

Excellent tapas at reasonable prices. Best to reserve in advance. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Very friendly staff.

Okay I usually don't rate restaurants but I make an exception for this because their dishes are prepared with so much care that you begin to think the chef is an artist. Price is fair during lunch hours( when you order the menu of the day @€7) but at dinner...hmmm, be mindful you might be wowed at how exorbitant the price might be.
All In all the dishes here are brilliantly cooked especially the picanha, even though you rarely know when its served on the menu 😏😏

This fine restaurant entailed the fine quality of the local products which this area produces and the kind hearted friendliness that the northern parts of Portugal are known for. By far, one of the best meals I have eaten in Portugal! Will return shortly for another great meal.
