I’ve found a gem! I stumbled across this restaurant looking for lunch when all the other restaurants I usually go to were closed. I was welcomed promptly and sat down with the typical Portuguese menu which was well priced. I picked the dourada grelada and received a delicious spread of food, I was just so happy. The flavours were amazing. Great service, great food and affordable prices. Now this will be one of my usual restaurants I go to! Recommended.

I stumbled across this restaurant by accident as it had started chucking it down outside. The place was empty when I went in so I wasn't expecting too much. I ended up with a cheap and extremely satisfying meal with big portion sizes, it was absolutely delicious, the codfish with fries and onions and the seafood with rice were both delightful topped up by a glass of vinho verde. The owner didn't have a word of English but he was so cheerful and friendly. Glad to have eaten here before it becomes really popular.

I was visiting the area, but all the restaurants I saw looked too trendy and sort of touristy for my mood, so I walked on until the simple, unpretentious vibe of this doorway called to me. The interior was clean and well lit, and the traditional menu sounded appealing. The man who waited on me was attentive and friendly, and thankfully the menu was in several languages. I had a bottle of vinho verde and a plate of beautifully crisp fried small mackerel with rice and salad for around €12. Prices were very reasonable, and my food was cooked just right, prepared with well judged seasoning and herbs and good fresh flavors. Perfect for when you’re in the mood for honest good food without fancy trappings.

This is an absolute hidden gem and we love going here any chance we’re in the area! Classic homestyle Portuguese food, if you’re a tourist read no further and walk in immediately!

Great food. I had the codfish with potatoes and it was excellent. Support a place like this as opposed to tourist places downtown.

Adoramos! Mesmo sendo bem pequeno o lugar, a comida é muito gostosa, atendimento excelente e os preços são bem justos!

Es menja de manera familiar, molt bé i bó. Seria bo veure la meva ressenya del dia que hi vaig ser-hi...detallava els plats que vem menjar i el vi que vem veure (sardinhas, ....vi lisboeta).

Accueil très chaleureux, cuisine terriblement bonne et prix très attrayant !!! Nous étions à 4 et nous avons payé 60€ pour un plat, un dessert, les boissons et le digestif ! Nous sommes ravis et nous allons y retourner! Je recommande à 100% !!! 😍 Merci et bonne continuation !

Nous recommandons, bonne cantine, plat copieux et très abordable, un patron très gentil. Un restaurant simple et très propre, on c'est régalés.
