This was my first experience listening to fado and although I didn't understand the language, it was beautiful. Especially when it brings tears to your eyes. The owners were very sweet and even gave us a kiss on the cheek when she left. The food was awesome as well as the green wine and the singers were amazing. 👏👏👏👏💖💖

This place is marvelous! I went with two friends and it was great. We listened to fado and two of us ate the baccalà that was amazing. The woman working there is really nice and warm. I really suggest it for an authentic experience of Alfama!

Beautiful tasca, super gentle, we went late to eat something and lunch time was over but the ladie offer us some bolinhos do bacalahau and a tapa with queijo and presunto. Excelente bolinhos.

Nice food, nice fado and cozy environment.

Very traditional and run by the family. Laura and Jaime are very friendly. You get a feeling of eating at a Portuguese house. The fado artists sing and then take a small break, but you get a lot of music in one night!
All food tasted good, and I was very happy with a simple but delicious dessert: chocolate cake with caramel sauce (I had it with a dose of Ginja, such a great pair!)

Cheapest Fado in town. We stood at the bar where you only pay for your drinks (2.50€ per drink) if you sit down your bill may be more like 15-20€ per person for avg food. All the locals were here chatting and joined in the Fado. Great experience.

What a fabulous place!! Immediately welcomed by the lady owner and given a seat next to the two excellent Fado instrument players. They were joined by some lady Fado singers one at a time, which was so atmospheric. We were also lucky enough to have a group of three friendly, generous, Portuguese men on our table. It was really good. It's a small place and they only play at the weekend. Go!! I loved it. The tapas and wine were good too.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who is from Lisbon. It was by far the most magical dining experience I had in Lisbon in the two weeks I was here. Small, intimate, family run establishment with only six tables. The music was amazing and often throughout the evening locals from the neighborhood would stop by for a beer and engage in performance. Laura and Jaime serve with care and attention. They made us feel like family. This place will be at the top of my list for every future trip to Lisbon as well as recommended to any of my friends/family who plan to visit. Don't miss this place. It surpassed all expectations.

We had two octapus and one fish dishes for dinner; food, service and music were all excellent; highly recommend it. The prices are on the higher side but you pay for quality of food and experience.

The atmosphere is great and prices are great. The fado sung here is the real one, Fado Vadio, it is enjoyable and genuine, not touristy, just the real thing. It's like a family and it feels amazing.
