Incredible food every time I eat here! Great wine list and nice atmosphere. They accommodated to a vegetarian diet which can be difficult in the Alentejo

Restaurant and wine bar with a nice selection of different bottles from all regions ... of Portugal. Very good food. Warm environment. The place to share good moments with friends or family. Epicurean.

Superb. Although simple looking, the food and service are outstanding. From classic gastronomy of the region to some more imaginative offers. I have had several of the dishes on offer and have yet to try one that I wouldn't recommend.

Alecrim (Rosemary) in Estremoz is by far one of the best restaurants in Portugal. The location is right in the center of town. The restaurant is quaint, lined with wine bottles from the region and beyond and the tables and chairs are uniquely built. We were four for lunch. The table already had their sample appetizers which consisted of rosemary butter, cheese, olives, local olive oil and bread. We ordered drinks and the main course. The staff was courteous and attentive. The portions were large and full of flavor. The meats were tender and cooked perfectly. We were full but decided to try the desserts and they did not disappoint. We ordered three desserts to share. The desserts consisted of creme brulee infused with poejos (water mint), chocolates in three textures, the third was an egg custard. All three were delicious but the mint creme brulee was out of this world. A must visit if you are in the Estremoz área.

Excellent! You definitely must visit if you are in Estremoz. The servers are super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine menu. The portions are large and the presentation of the food is beautiful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and relation between quality and price. Very friendly staff. We ordered pork, it was well cooked, tasty and juicy. The dissert (siricá) was very good. Definitely a place to eat lunch.

One of the best meals we had in Portugal. Our large group was quickly accommodated and we had MANY items off the menu and all were equally amazing. The pasta, burger, seared tuna, and vegetarian entrees were all phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a professionally presented and served dinner: we had gazpacho, veal croquettes and polvo with shrimp and rice.

I had the pleasure of dining at Alecrim, a charming restaurant nestled in the heart of Estremoz. From the moment I stepped inside Alecrim, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food celebrates the rich flavors of Portuguese cuisine, with a focus on using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Each dish I tried was a delightful symphony of flavors and textures, expertly prepared to perfection.

Fantastic discovery by pure luck. This place is a jewel and it reflects on the good food
. The “presunto alentejano” really blew our minds off. The wine menu is very extensive. They could offer printed menus for those like us that can’t read on their phones

Beautiful restaurant with great decor and character. We enjoyed a delicious starter of roast marrow bone with fresh tomato and herb salsa and thinly toasted bread. My husband had lamb chops with brain & kidney side which was quite good. I had a brilliant dish of octopus & rice in red wine. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent and friendly.

This is a very modern establishment, with a remarkable rural vibe. The sober interiors, and the elegant rustic decor, will wrap you in a very cozy and relaxed ambience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. And the food... simply extraordinary. It's a modern and classy take on regional flavours, properly executed, and true to its roots. Great selection of entrées, delicious desserts, and huge wine selection.

After 3 years we had dinner again at Alecrim. As before the food was phenomenal and the service outstanding. My compliments to the chefs and staff. Thank you !!

Excellent place. Food is amazing, local flavors with a creative touch, portions are generous, great wine selection. Service is very attentive and the place is beautifully decorated. Our favorite dishes were the octopus salad, the tuna, the pork "presa" and the beef "vacia". There are cheaper places in town, but the value for money here is execellent. Totally recommended, we would happily go back!

We enjoyed our meal so much we went back another night. Service very good a d relaxed. Found food to be excellent quality. Puddings amazing and very well presented.

A superb Market town Restaurant,(much too good for the Town of Estremoz), quality foods at an affordable price, only one thing wrong in my view, VEGETABLES! should have at least two kinds of different ones,as part and parcel of the Main course, alongside one type of potatoes. BUT OVERALL, A SUPERB MEAL, we live now in Ericeira,and the 170 Kts distance,was well worth the visit, my ancestors were from the concelho De ESTREMOZ, so we WIILvisit again SOON. Thank you ALECRIN.
