The food and atmosphere were amazing! Especially desserts…it’s the perfect balance of sugar and sour!
One thing is service. The waiters were really slow and not paying attention to the customers (but food was cooked super fast).

Absolutely loved our experience at Gadanha. Service, food and venue well situated. They have a great deli/shop before entering the dining space. Good selection of products for sale. Menu on the €€€ side but meal was well prepared. Desert was the peace-de-restance. Toodelicious for words.

We went here while on a campervan trip to the area ,well it was brilliant we just loved it with a minute point that the thyme ice cream needed more thyme!
All the local wines were great,we had crevettes,goats cheese,pork cheek,lamb chops,meringue and strawberries,textures of mango,passion fruit and raspberry

Such a great place! Very unassuming facade, but the atmosphere inside is extensive, yet cozy and upscale, all at once. The food is incredible, traditional techniques with an upscale flare. It is a food boutique, café, and restaurant all in one. Their wine selection is great (some natural wines). Great staff also - highly recommend coming here!

We enjoyed our lunch here. Great wine and I loved the innovative twists on each dish. The tuna tartare was a bit off balance but overall a great experience!

Fabulous meal here a few weeks ago whilst exploring the Alentejo, by far our best experience. Great menu and everything was perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were kind and attentive. A special thanks to Ana who went out of her way to accommodate us at short notice. We will be back!

Recommendation of the sommelier at the museo next door, this was a last minute reservation well accommodated. Limited for gluten free options, but we ate well. Kind staff. Excellent wine. Lively but unpretentious atmosphere. Great shop filled with culinary souvenirs attached.

Awesome delicatessen of adapted cuisine from Alentejo. Great experience. Flawless service, good ambient and decoration. Just a bit pricey. Around 30€ per person. But nevertheless an awesome restaurant.

Incredible experience from the entrada all the way to the sobremesa. Every dish came out in good time, and tasted amazing! A must go for a great dining experience when you're in Esrtremoz.

Exceptional food and one of the best wine lists in Alentejo featuring hundreds of local wines. The business is an imaginative and contemporary take on traditional Portuguese dishes. An absolute must visit for a drink or dinner when visiting Alentejo.

What a find. Local ingredients. Original combinations with delicate flavors. Great multilingual service. Picture is their cod dish with Portuguese ‘prosciutto’. Extensive wine list and a lot of choices by the glass. Just ask what’s open.
