Vitor's Village

We really enjoyed our stay here, lovely views, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size. Really handy having an ironing board and iron in the room. Free safe which is great 😃 dolce gusto coffee machine in room so if you have one at home bring Pods. Beds were quite firm which I don't like but seems to be a common thing across Europe. We didn't get to go in the pool as the weather wasn't great but it looked great and you aren't allowed to put towels on the beds to reserve. We will come back here hopefully next time it's better weather.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Nice balcony and everything you need in the kitchenette except dish soap. We took a little bottle with us and washed everything before we used it. Staff was very helpful and friendly! The hotel is built on a hill so if you are on a room at the top of the hill, it could be challenging if you have any issues but our room in the flamingo building was at the bottom of the hill do no problem. It's a very quick walk to town with many nice restaurants, Cafes and bars. Easy drive to lots of interesting towns.

For the price and as a 4-star venue it really delivers. Nice staff. I'd reduce the score for the restaurant as service there is bad in the eve ings. But that is optional. The apartments are cleaned daily, which is generous, and all staff are friendly and helpful.

Just home from a wonderful 10 night stay. Our 1st time in Portugal and I have to say we will definitely be back!
The village is well set out, spacious and exceptionally clean, from the reception area to the outside spaces and the apartment.
I have mobility issues so the walk to the village down the hill and back up again wasn't something I was able to do but we used either the free transport provided by the resort or Uber (which was €3.75 per trip) and ot really wasnt an issue.
The pool and surrounding areas are lovely, my only gripe would be that the sunbeds are really low (again for me due to mobility issues) - I found the sunbeds at the beach much easier to use.
Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice but the water in the hot drinks machine could have been hotter to make a decent brew 1st thing in the morning! We ate at Purple restaurant a few times, lovely food - the prawn risotto was amazing - but a fairly limited choice.
Our apartment was great. A huge comfy bed, plenty of plug sockets about, decent bathroom (with decent sized towels) nice sized balcony. Kitchen area with fridge, microwave, hob and pots and pans etc. No washing up liquid, dish cloths or anything provided tho. There is a small shop on site, not the best selection of food etc if you were cooking in your apartment.....mainly drinks, crisps and snacks I would say.
The staff were amazing! From reception to the bar and waiting staff everyone was happy, chatty and more than happy to help with any questions we had.
All in all a perfect stay and a wonderful introduction to Portugal and the Algarve. Thank you everyone at Vitor's......we will definitely be back! Sarah and Mark Morgan x

Myself and my family loved Vitors Village! Staff are friendly and the apartments are well managed.

More dinner choices were needed for the kids menu. There were only 3 options and these didn’t change all week.

But overall a fantastic holiday :)

Everything is great.
People are very kind and they always want to help. In Purple where I eat food was very good. Solange was very very kind and speaks all languages. She told me how could I go to the city Ferragudo and to the other nice places and which places to visite. Compliments.

We stayed at Vitor's village for 6 nights and had the most amazing time. The hotel is beautiful and really well looked after. The pool is massive and the apartments were perfect for what we needed with the best air conditioning I've probably ever experienced. The location is also great, it took only a few minutes to walk to the centre of ferragudo, and Ubers were cheap and quick when needing to go further.
Food was also really good and the staff were lovely ☺
Only comment for improvement is that the purple restaurant had a very limited menu on an evening and did not offer the 'takeaway options' you could order in your room which were really good and more varied. If you could combine the menus we would have eaten at the restaurant more often.

Beautiful apartments and swimming pool. A small village is literally what you get. The beds are good and the air condition is perfect. The drinks at purple are extremely overpriced and the WiFi could be better. The WiFi is very slow at the pool and in the apartment.

The people from the reception are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are descent, big bed, descent outside area.

There's a little kitchen with a small fridge and a 2 hob stove which works perfectly.

There's a nice bathroom, the only downside is that there's a shower curtain and not a door. But I didn't have too much problems with it like most shower curtains.

The pool was great and beautiful. Perfectly for a swim after a hot day.

Super apartments in a fantastic location. Large, clean and great balcony. Pay the extra for the river view - it's th sunset side too! Pool areas are great (not heated though). We had a fab week exploring the Algarve and all the coastal walks.

Great place to stay and we would return, I took I star off location as it won't be for everyone as there is a rather steep hill to navigate to get to the town

7 friends and I spent some very cool and relaxing days there - all of us were more than happy with the location and the service

Loved it here, family friendly. Clean and quiet not too busy. Everyone is friendly.

We stayed here for few days and had wonderful time, The reception staff are very helpful there is 24 hours reception services and also room's are very comfortable, my son was unfortunately unwell the first day the reception staff spoken to local hospital arrangements.

Lovely place to stay & nice room. Very central. Good pool area. Friendly staff from the cleaners, waiters to reception. Been self catering before but this time we had breakfast too & lovely selection to choose from. Everywhere was very clean

Wow an amazing place. We are here "out of season", but it's perfection. Great food, wonderful apartment and gorgeous location. The town is chocablock full of cafés and little shops. A brilliant place to stay.

Lived it. Staff was friendly and attentive. The apartment was very nice, confortable and clean. Breakfast was great, and it felt especially good on a table outside, overlooking the pool and the garden.

Loved this place. Perfect for families, pool and bar area very clean and inviting. Rooms had everything we needed. Would definitely go again.

Lovely stay location only marked down slightly because of the hill.

Great apartment with kitchenette. Grounds are well kept. Facilities were great and the customer service at the reception was excellent. Carla went above and beyond to help us book tours and a rental car. Everything is local and at walking distance to the village. There is also a Lidl for your everyday bits you need.
Towel's are not provided for the pool so make sure you bring a towel.
Only thing that let me down is the breakfast. Beans are hard, mushrooms over cooked. Eggs rubbery, bacon over cooked, but they do have fresh baguettes which were nice as well as hams and salad.
