We had an amazing stay here with our two children. All staff were very helpful and friendly! We enjoyed playing tennis and the pool is very clean. Wifi was reliable. We can’t wait to come back!

We will definitely be back! All the staff are so friendly and helpful, making our stay so easy and restful. Although we arrived early, Miguel made us feel especially welcome at the restaurant, chatting and putting us at ease. The communal pool area is a great asset and available for everyone. The 4 bedroom villa was huge, fully air conditioned with it's own pool and cleaned, with beds made every day. The reception staff were brilliant, arranging very affordable car hire and advising us of places to visit. The car was then delivered to the Villa reception, making it so easy for us. Our transfer back to the airport, which had been arranged by our agent, didn't show up. So at 3.45am the night reception, phoned around until he was able to secure us a taxi, meaning we didn't miss our flight. We were so grateful he was able navigate this for us, so quickly, even in the middle of the night. All in all, we will definitely be back and hope to bring more of our family next time too.

Our second year to stay here as a family. Fabulous villas, they're huge. Air conditioning great. Cleaning service excellent and they were lovely ladies so friendly with my two grandsons. The main pool area is spotless, and the food is very good. Lovely salads & chips and nuggets for the boys were good quality.
Will definitely return next year

Stayed here a few times now. Amazing place & value for money. My parents also stayed there for my mother’s birthday. The staff all signed a card for her. The cleaner must have seen birthday cards In their apartment & notified reception. Some have stunning views, the restaurant is excellent & the staff friendly.

Colina da Lapa represents great value for money especially off season. The grounds are well maintained and all of the staff are polite and attentive. Angela on reception in particular was such a breath of fresh air, top customer service and a real asset to the company. We had a late flight and our transfer pickup wasnt until 6pm we asked with short notice if our apartment could be extended a little, one quick call and no problem is check out at 2 ok for you instead of 11? No charge. Those 3 hours meant we didn't have to rush around and we could cook a nice meal before spending the afternoon by the pool, waiting for our transfer to the airport. Colina da Lapa is in a nice quiet area opposite one of the best restaraunts in the entire Algarve (Hexagon. their Steaks are exquisite). If you prefer to get out and about I'd strongly recommend getting a hire car. Angela arranged this for us from Locauto who dropped off a brand new car within an hour of booking (they are based in Portimao). If you book apartments I'd recommend asking for top floor as the ground floor ones are not very well soundproofed and you hear a lot from above, been surrounded by lovely gardens you also get a few ants in the ground floor apartments but that didnt bother us. The apartments are spotlesslessly tidy and clean if a little dated but they are more than adequate. The villas, 3 and 4 beds are much more modern, all are spacious though the sun terraces on the apartments are very small but you can just about squeeze 4 people on them. The tennis courts are 6 Euros for at least an hour including racket and ball hire. Breakfast is only 8 Euros each and the onsite restaraunt while not to Hexagons standard (or cost) is still really nice and great value. The pool is unheated but not too chilly, plenty of sunbeds out of season but I believe it gets very busy peak season. For the money I think Colina da Lapa is an absolute steal.

Large 4 bed villa with private pool. We didn't have a car but used bolt to get around and very easy and cheap to see the area. Maid came in every day apart from Sunday to empty bins and change towels. Also had bedding changed during our week stay.

We booked one of the villas and I must say we had a lovely time. The villa is massive. It was clean (cleaning ladies clean it every day except Sundays and bank holidays, I believe).
Kitchen was dated and the cutlery / crockery should be refurbished. Oh, the fridge just wasn’t good enough.
The outside was excellent. The jacuzzi worked fine and the pool was clean. Garden was in excellent shape. The barbecue had all the utensils needed, just bring charcoal and food :)
Internet is just OK. Don’t expect super speeds. I used mobile data (5G) most of the time.
Management is strict with check in and check out times, even tho other villas looked empty. Can’t judge there as I really don’t know their bookings.
We checked the local bar / restaurant and the staff was polite. The apartments general pool looked clean and it is quite big. Can’t speak for the apartments quality as I didn’t check them nor spent any time there.
Overall, I recommend this place - Villa with 4 bedrooms, private pool and jacuzzi. Looking forward to return :)

We had two weeks here and we loved it! Not much around here so you need a car or taxi they also run a mini bus. The staff are very friendly helpful. Gardens are well kept and tidy it's peaceful place very well planned area! Pool is good. The bar/restaurant is good price and good food/drink with hard working staff. Highly recommended.

It is an excellent place. Stayed this time in one of the villas - they are big, with room for 6. The cleaning is perfect, the service level is high. The resturant is ok, with a nice standard menu. The pool and pool bar is a great venue for many hours of use. It is possible to hire a car. It opens up the opportunity to experience the Algarve, Wineries, the beach and the many charming seaside towns

Really good just a bit far from central town for me . About 6 to 10 eoro journey in taxi recommend having a shop on location apart from that very good all round

Very nice and spacious house with a nice pool in a spacious garden. The man at the gatehouse was very helpfull. Breakfast at the restaurant is good.
