Lovely authentic japanese restaurant. Reserved seating at sushi bar the night before since they only take reservations on phone. The sashimi selection is fresh though there’s tendon in the toro pieces🥲 The eel is the must-try dish!!!!! It’s freshly grilled and sauced to perfection. The chef gave us a free appetiser to start with and it’s surprisingly good. Definitely the best meal we had in Lisbon😻

Had a birthday dinner here. I can say this is one of the authentic Japanese restaurants which is hard to find out of Japan. Unaju (grilled eels on the rice) which is my favorite, was awesome, and so as Anmitsu, that’s slightly different to the real one but still good.

I could talk a bit with a Brazilian-Japanese waitress who told me the history of the restaurant. They used to have a Japanese chef who passed away lately. However, Portuguese and Brazilian chefs definitely succeed his skills and spirit.

Entirely my partner and I had really satisfactory great dinner for my birthday and recommend to anyone who would like to have authentic Japanese food.

Upscale sushi restaurant with amazing family style platters. Place is cozy, couple of tables and big sushi bar. Perfect for dates or dining solo. Largest tables seemed to be for 4 people. The sushi platter was amazing, high fish quality and loved the rice/fish ratio. For appetizers we went for beef gyozas which were crunchy and a miso soup. This is traditional style sushi so very few rolls - stick to sashimi and nigiris. Prices were fair. Service was very friendly and spoke English.

I love sushi and make sure to try it out in every new country I visit and I am tempted to say this was the best sushi experience of my life. It was that good! Fantastic ambiance and service, and truly authentic (and very delicious) sushi. It is upscale so perfect for a date/fancy dinner. I would give more stars if I could.

I had an excellent culinary experience. It was on the same level as what I have experienced in good restaurants in Japan. The chefs and apprentices work in front of you and you can ask at any time for explanations about their work. The fish and seafood are extra fresh and the meat is of high quality. An excellent and unexpected experience since I came in almost by chance without any reservation.

Out of all the sushi I’ve ever tried, this was the best sushi hands down. The sushi is made fresh, the atmosphere is great, and the experience overall was amazing. We tried sashimi, rice rolls, tempura, and the miso fried eggplant, and everything was absolutely delicious, we even ordered seconds of some items.
Definitely recommending this spot for a Japanese taste in Lisbon.

Really really really good sushi. The gyoza had amazingly thin wrappers, and tasted much more delicate as a result. The chirashi had every kind of sashimi and more. The ice cream tasted so fresh - ginger had ginger in it, black sesame had sesame in it, and matcha had matcha in it. I also ordered 300ml of sake, which might’ve been a bit too much for me, but it went really well with the rest of the meal.

And lastly, the toro nigiri was absolutely dreamy. It melts in your mouth like butter, and is such a treat when I’m able to find it.

10/10 would recommend. The sushi sashimi combos seemed to be a better deal, so I would probably go for that next time. I also called ahead for reservations, and kept asking for availability until they had a seat free (called on Thursday, seated for Saturday). I’m sure I also lucked out since we’re still coming out of a pandemic, so be sure to reserve early if you’re in the area.

The best sushi I’ve had in Lisbon so far - authentic and traditional - very high end without trying to be too fancy. The quality of the fish blew me away - melt in your mouth toro and salmon. And the hand made gyoza were perfectly crispy and savory. The staff were amazing as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent sushi and service. The atmosphere was really pleasant as well, with soft lights and even though there were many other guests it was a really calm environment. We booked a table for two a few hours before our time at 19.30 on a Saturday. At the time they had some issues booking by phone, but since we were close we made the reservation at the restaurant.

I believe this is the best and only authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in Lisbon (and possibly in Portugal) that serves excellent sushi and sashimi. The sushi rice is perfectly made and ingredients are very fresh. The talented and ingenious sushi-chefs keep the tradition of sushi-making and present the plate with an artistic touch. I am from Japan, and I love this restaurant!

We absolutely loved it!
It was not easy to book as place is in high demand and you better book at least few days in advance.
But it worth the wait. Food was exceptional. Quality and freshness of the fish was above all you can find in Lisbon.

The best sushi restaurant in Lisbon so far. And prob the best out of Japan I’ve found in awhile too. Quality is pretty impressive, and I have lived in so many countries. Uni, red shrimp, and toro were fantastic.

One of the best sushi experiences I had for a while. The sushi chef was very friendly and professional, very knowledgeable too. The atmosphere is upscale but not stuck up. It’s a bit on a pricier side, but definitely worth it. I am coming back next time I’m in Lisbon.
