What a great place to dine. The atmosphere was lively and fun. The waiters are very accommodating and attentive. They truly want to make your dining experience memorable. Remembering this place is not hard to do once you taste the food and the quality of the presentation. Maria Catita will be one of the highlights I remember from our Lisbon stay.

Amazing place for shared plates with small group of people since it is a more quaint and cozy restaurant. Amazing food and service for great price and quality! Mauro was our server and was super attentive to everything and gave great recommendations like the Gambas and chocolate cake for dessert! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon and am for sure coming again <3

One of the best restaurant we‘ve been in Lisbon. It was very busy on weekday in the evening, but it was worth it. The atmosphere and service were amazing. The food was very delicious and the portion size was great. I’d definitely come here again!

An amazing restaurant with very well made traditional food. Everything was delicious. We took shrimps for the entrée, bar and bees for the main dish and cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. Serving was especially friendly and fast. I love this place. All good notes were completely justified.

We booked in advance, people were queuing around the corner to get. The food was excellent. We had clams and prawns for starters..which both had a LOT of garlic and tasted lovely. For main we had the Octopus and rice and Salt Cod o Gratin, again both were excellent.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Please reserve at least a week in advance or line up as soon as they open up. Well worth it! The service was great, our servers were really friendship and provided great recommendations. The food was phenomenal! Must try the Octopus rice!! They have a new passion fruit cocktail which was great!!

Absolutely fabulous seafood restaurant.

We dropped by without a reservation at around 8pm on a Monday evening, and it was packed - even without a reservation, though, they were luckily able to seat us inside very quickly.

We ordered the shrimp salad to start, while we waited for our mains. It was a huge portion for the price and tasted amazing, the shrimps were extremely fresh - one of the best salads I've ever had.

The mains were also very generous portions considering the extremely high quality and reasonable price they held. I would highly recommend the Chef's Special - I have not had anything like it, the purple sweet potato mash worked beautifully with the salmon.

If you love quality seafood, I urge you to visit - just ensure you make a reservation to guarantee a table!

Brilliant restaurant, I came here on my first night and couldn't rate it more highly. Excellent value for money.

I also went back for lunch and it was just as good. Would recommend the garlic prawns in particular. I've loved eating here and I'll definitely be back when I next come to Lisbon.

I enjoyed a fantastic dinner early Saturday evening. Was seated quickly despite it being a rainy Saturday. I ordered the drink special and the octopus, and followed that with a lovely chocolate cake and some port wine. Service was attentive and all the food was so fresh. Given the lovely service and quality of the dishes, the price was also very fair! Would highly recommend to all. Thank you!

I love the foods in here. Decent price and great dining experience. Better to reserve the seat in advance. I walked in on a weekday at 12:00 as this restaurant open at 12:00. Seats filled up so quickly. Highly recommended 🫶

We chanced upon this lovely restaurant on our way back to the airport. We went in primarily for Portuguese steak, which my wife said was fantastic. The atmosphere is very good, which seems to happen when everyone is enjoying their food and experience! I had their special sandwich, which was a challenging size, but very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant. The price was very keen too!

This is one of the best seafood restaurant that I ever visited in Portugal, very reasonable pricing with great dishes and services. The food is never too salty but very delicious. You have to make a reservation beforehand at least two weeks before if not, you can wait an hour to be.Seated but it is worth it!!!

Food was amazing! And had such big servings as well. We came to celebrate my sisters birthday and we had an amazing time. I got the baby beef from the grill with chips and my sister got the prawns al ajillo. It was perfectly made and absolutely delicious. Our server was very friendly, super grateful for a bi/tri-lingual staff. The white and red sangria are perfectly balanced sweet and flavorful, I couldn’t get a picture before we finished the white sangria. Obrigada!

You can't notice this restaurant when looking up Portuguese restaurants in Lisbon online where you may have traditional dishes. This tiny kitchen, which lies in the middle, creates meals that combine experience and tradition. The octopus meals are fantastic when paired with the Douro wine and are definitely worth tasting. Have to try without a doubt! Reasonably priced, with genuinely kind and accommodating servers.

We had an amazing lunch here. Salad was incredibly tasty with a nice dressing and loads of toppings, not only leaves. The main dish, the cod, was superb, tender and flavory, very nice with the crunchy fries and the risotto had a very soft texture. The chocolate cake at the end is the perfect ending

Busy and bustling restaurant. We didn’t wait very long to get seated. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who was very attentive and helpful. We shared bacalhau à brás and polvo à lagareiro. Both dishes were delicious. We ordered two glasses of wine, the one we asked for wasn’t available so they gave us a different one but at the same price.

Wow is a great way to describe this restaurant in one word.

The food was straight up awesome and very affordable especially for the quality and the service you receive.

Location is perfect, all in all it is a must visit

Overall, the food was good. The steak was great and worth the price! However, I found the chips were a bit soggy, please improve this. The service was friendly and helpful. I will visit again this restaurant whenever I am in Lisbon.

Delicious food. Service is a little slow but they’re super busy and the waiters are nice. Tried the shrimp starter and octopus rice. The octopus is the best I’ve had so far here in portugal
