Matiz Pombalina Cocktail Bar

This is a true gem in Lisbon. The owner is a wonderful man who has created a very intimate and comfortable space. We stumbled on it while visiting last fall and probably went back four times on our trip. I could not recommend this more. Maybe a little more expensive than other places but the atmosphere is well worth it.

We came here on a Wednesday night after having had dinner in a nearby restaurant. The cocktail bar is very stylish and cosy. Great music. The bartender / host was very friendly and accommodating. Great cocktails as well. We will definitely be returning ! If you’re looking for a great cocktail selection and a cosy setting, this place is highly recommended!

Love this place! Great neighborhood bar- we stumbled upon it as it was close to our Air BnB. We loved the decor- feels dapper! Talked with owner about Portugal while sipping on our gin cocktails. Romantic but feels like it could be a fun group location as well with the layout. Nice selection of bottles.

Sumptuous cocktail bar. Characterful owner, Miguel. Fun atmosphere and lovely cocktails. A must drop in late at night. Open till 2pm. Press buzzer to gain entry, like an old time speakeasy joint.

Visiting Lisbon with my two sons and stopped by for a quick cocktail after a late dinner. We ended up staying until it closed at 2am because we were charmed by the owner and atmosphere! Fantastic place! Wonderful artisanal drinks with full explanation on what was used. Highly recommend going there. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Happened upon this little gem of a cocktail bar by chance. Absolutely gorgeous, old world surrounds. Very kind and attentive bar man, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about drinks and cocktails. Highly recommend to anyone in the neighbourhood.
