Adega Regional

It’s a lovely place with nice decorations and a lot of wines. The owners are very hospitable. It’s always full, better to reserve a table before going . The meat was really in high quality. We will come back for sure.

Lovely restaurant in a somewhat out of the way narrow street. Food was lovely, scallops and roasted lamb(great flavor!) particularly and with a friendly service! Loved it!

An excellent lunch at Adega Regional! Typical food in a cosy and authentic environment: the menu is full of Alentejo delicacies such as Carne de Porco à Alentejana or the Elvas’ dessert Sericaia. Great wine selection and helpful staff but consider booking in advance to ensure you have a table!

I’ve lived in and travelled all over Portugal for over 3 years now and can honestly report to you that Adega Regional ranks among the top as far as quality of ingredients, execution, service and fair prices. These good people know what they are doing and they do it very very well! Thanks for a wonderful evening enjoyed by a solo diner seated next to a table of 13!

Place is simply fantastic!! Stuff is polite and nice, food is local and tastes so good, and very cheap also (compared to any capital city). I’d give this place 6 stars.

Medium sized restaurant, with an old cellar type decoration!

The staff was professional and friendly.

I had the daily vegetable soup which was really good.
We ordered as main dish the "Naco" which was very good. It was on point and a very good meat plate.

Best place to eat in Elvas, hands down. Excellent food and service, big portions and a fantastic atmosphere. The tomato soup is divine! 10/10 would recommend.

Although this is a relatively large restaurant, the layout doesn’t make it feel like that. Great food, beautiful decor and very friendly staff!

Easy 5 stars. Its the Restaurant to visit in the city. Big place with bar on site. Many things to choose from including the regional/typical food. I didn't had much hungry but I had to try out my favourite soups in portuguese cuisine - the Alentejo ones. I had 2 of the most popular (they have more): Tomato Soup and Cação (a species of dogfish shark) Soup - extremely delicious both of them. Could not ask for better!

Right in the center of Elvas this restaurant brings you into the atmosphere of a wine cellar. The food is great and so is the service.

Prawns were the best.

The Alentejo on a plate! I had lamb which was tender and plentiful. The house red wine was excellent. Good service and good value

Recommended. Turned up with no reservation, were seated immediately and the waiter was very friendly. Didn't love the burnt sausage but the not-burnt sausage was excellent and the tomato soup was great.
