This is one of the most stunning places I’ve ever eaten and certainly the most friendly staff imaginable.

We were served by Mafalda who was the sweetest host I’ve ever met. Her English was perfect and I overheard her French as well which sounded spot on!

The set menu style was interesting but there was a good variety of options and the fact it always changes makes for a really exciting visit!

The value for money is second to none as well. The cakes are to die for, the lemon meringue pie I could have eaten until I threw up it was so good!

The atmosphere is very relaxed and has such a homey vibe. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this enough, a real hidden gem!

Lovely hidden gem! We found this place by pure luck and already very hungry. The waitress didn’t speak much English so we were not quite sure what we’re ordering but in the end it was all worth it! The food was simply fantastic!! I usually don’t like pastries with meat but on this occasion I had ordered one additional!! And the cakes were mouthwatering! Very highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent place for lunch. The food is very tasty and the service is excellent. You have to get a desert. The chocolate cake is incredible. Everyone who works there is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.

I had the menu for 13.50, which included a soup + main dish + glass of wine. Good quality food, the bacalhau was great! The staff were amazing as well, very helpful and smiley 😌

This was a lucky find. We were out for a stroll and got hungry; and found this delightful cafe. They treated us very well, and were extremely friendly. Everything we tried was well prepared, and the chocolate cake was perfect for my sweet tooth. I’d definitely come back for the lovely seating and company.

Brilliant hidden gem. Decided to stop by with a baby after walking across the coast from sea life centre.

Food was brilliant. They did 3 courses, 1 meat 1 fish 1 vegetarian. We had the vege soup and curry with delicious puddings. 10/10. They mentioned the menu changes everyday so worth visiting. Lovely relaxed atmosphere as well.

This was such a lovely spot for lunch. We enjoyed the beautiful little courtyard, tasty homemade food, and excellent service. Their bacalhau á brás was excellent, as was the vegetarian tagine. And great carrot soup!

Good value for money. Friendly staff and nice food. The lemon meringue was delightful. We were full after our main but the waitress insisted we got a dessert and she was completely correct.

We were lucky to dumb into the bird restaurant. A very peaceful place runned by a very kind and humble people. the food was amazing taste even better than it's appetising look. We shared a wonderful moment. the price is redicilous in comparision with the food quality. I highly recommand The bird restaurent as a part of your tour in Porto city

I had an amazing healthy set lunch today, sitting in the patio/garden. I loved the food, the decorations, the nice cotton place mats. The lady that served the tables was cheerful and friendly. Set lunch came for 10 euros. Perfect.

We went here to have lunch. We paid 8.5€ for soup of the day, lasaña/bacalao croquettes and a glass of wine. This place is really nice to spend some time, it's very well decorated and has great outdoor seatings. The service is very nice and attentive, the food is just perfect. I would highly recommend passing bye if you find yourself in its neighbourhood. Don't forget to order one of their amazing desserts, they are all homemade and it's to die for!

Very cute and heartfelt location. You can chose between 3 different menues and our choices have been very yummy and full of fresh vegetables. HIGHLY recommended
