Came here on valentine's day, we didn't have a reservation but the wait wasn't long considering how busy it was, where we were seated had an amazing view of the river, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious.
Highly recommend the Iberian black pork steak and the veal with mushrooms.

It is next to the river Lima and the bridge and, incidentally, has a stream right next to (the river Vade) the building that was once a mill. It serves traditional cuisine, well prepared. Wine from Adega Cooperativa de Ponte da Barca, the specialty is lamprey (until May and with prior reservation) and the delicious Octopus à Lagareiro

This amazing stunning,beautiful,romantic and well decorated restaurant with a lovely small natural falls viewed from one cosy area room with three table .We requested and tried to reserve a table on this spot ,to our surprise upon our arrival they had the table for us. A satisfying Tourist dish options my wife chose a salmon dish served with potatoes and vegetable .There are two options for vegetarians, there was a slow freshly cooked cabbage ,potatoes and carrots with garlic.Divine !the staff are so friendly and always attend!Highly recommend this romantic restaurant

Nice classy restaurant with good atmosphere in Ponte da Barca, right on the river, an old mill, a bit more pricey that the others but not that much. Grilled Bacalhau was excellent, large portion and we'll executed

New (well, not VERY new, perhaps 2 years now?) owners with a new menu and concept. We were 6 persons sharing different tapas and it was DELICIOUS. Everyone LOVED the veggies with hummus tahini and it was a lot of food. Prices are a bit on the high note, but the view and environment are spectacular. Love this place! (And now you can pay with VISA card, which you couldn't earlier.)

Everything was delicious and big portions. Final price including drinks, starters, mains, desserts and coffee around 20-25€ per person.

Wonderful homemade food. Prices are fair. Without wine (I rarely drink alcohol) an excellent meal costs about 20 euros, including salad, main course, a drink, desert and coffee. The staff is competent and friendly. I will certainly be back.
