Lima Escape Camping & Glamping

This camping is a hidden gem ☺ We visited in October, weather was nice but I could imagine spending some cosy rainy time here as well. Beautiful surroundings, the parking lots are very nicely distributed, one could still have their privacy, trees and birds contributing to a very relaxing time.
We enjoyed our stay, had everything we needed. Campsite was clean and quiet. Washing machine detergent smells amazing if you need to wash your clothes 😊

Outstanding campsite with beautiful location on the water side. We stayed for two nights with a small camper van and had a spot with view on the water and hills. This campsite is ideal for exploring the nature park, with trails situated nearby. Wasn't to busy and there is plenty of space between vehicles.

We stayed only for 2 nights and we wish we had time for more! No matter if you are in a tent, a van, a bungalow or glamping... This is one of the best campsites we've been to!

Everyone really nice and everything always clean and ready to use. Hot-showers, barbecues, kitchen sinks, outdoor dining tables, kids playground, lots of trees/shade and electrical points, a van cleaning station, an electric car station, a restaurant/bar, a mini market, an eco-point: everything well maintained to make your stay enjoyable...
It has a paid swimming pool and lots of activities for rent. We will certainly come back again, the sooner the better :) Thank you guys so much!

Perfect location. Perfect nature spot. Perfect swimmingpool. Incredible glamour tents. Perfect and clean WC services. The bar and restaurant are very good. Quiet calm and relaxing. With a lot of possible kayak, 4x4, bike and treking activities. Who love camping, and nature, this is the place.

It's hard to fault this campsite. The location is idyllic, with water on 3 sides of the site. Toilet/shower facilities were so clean and you are left to choose your pitch, which are well signposted and it's clear where to go. The swimming pool is very small and therefore it's pay for entry, otherwise it would get too full. Personally, in summer it's more fun to walk round the back of the campsite and swim directly in the river! It's quiet, not over-run by long-stayers who get territorial and has a nice, young, international vibe.

Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great facilities, clean and maintained at a good standards...

This is honestly one of the nicest campsites I have stayed on, and there has been a lot! The location is beautiful and peaceful with great views over the river. There are good walks directly from the site which our dog loved. The showers are hot and powerful enough and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Super beautiful place, good starting point for hikes and relaxed atmosphere. Also really helpful staff, especially Nito! He provided us with some amazing recommendations that were the highlight of our trip.

Absolutely one of the best places I have ever stayed in.

I had the bungalow number 3 for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing. Quiet, simple, clean and with a breathtaking view over the lake and the forest.

Went for the bigger version that includes a bedroom, a living room and kitchen +bathroom.

The receiption was super helpful with our requests and the food was also good and cheap.

The only improvement they could do is a coffee machine in the rooms. That would make it perfect.

Otherwise, I highly recommend this place

We had a wonderful stay at Lima Escape for a two night weekend for quality family time. The location of the site is beautiful, surrounded by nature and a lake. We had a T1+1 bungalow for 2 adults and one child, and were extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the unit and the good quality mattresses.
With many facilities on-site, our daughter enjoyed the playground between our walks in the surrounding forest. Very quiet at night, considering we are light sleepers!
We loved our weekend so much that we booked another two-night weekend.

A big thank you to Anna, who was a great host and recommended a lovely adrelanine-booster ATV tour for the hubby.

Best camping so far! Wonderful place and the people are so kind and helpful. They got a great restaurant with delicious food and a lot of great activities to do. We stayed a full week and were almost sad to leave. Definitely recommend this, we will come back for sure! Thank you so much to the staff, you’ve made this a place to remember!

The location of this camping is outstanding. When you reach it, in little more than an hour drive from Porto, you are immediately surrounded by nature.
Wherever you look the views are outstanding with pines, mountains, and the ever present river.
The facilities are good, very well maintained, and clean.
The surrounding area is very beautiful with endless possibilities.

Nice camping in a good location - in Geres park, but still quite accessable with a bike from cities nearby. Tent camping ground has a river view, there is some sightseeing around and sup/kayak tours. Facilities are well maintained and there is a hot water. They have a bar and a small shop in case you need something. Overall surprisingly good experience compared to some other campings in Portugal.

Nice camping in a really beautiful landscape. You can hear crickets chirping and trees dancing at night. The camping staff is very kind and they are perfectly adapted to the new Covid situation. Plus the bar is cool. Around the camping there is the Gêres-Peneda National Park, wich has a lot of nice and different level hikes and wonderful spots, specially waterfalls and pools in the little mountain rivers which are perfect to take a bath... Very recommendable!!

We had a very pleasant stay there.
The staff, especially one nice gentleman, was a delight: helpful, funny and spoke english & spanish.
The tent camp spots are with a nice view, not grass but flat ground with small stones. The showers etc are clean and there are more than enough.
The food and drinks at the cafe are good.

We loved it here. It was still early Spring and the weather was cold and a bit wet, but we still had a fantastic time. It's in a beautiful setting, with good facilities for the price and helpful staff. We ate one night in the restaurant and we got great service and lovely food. The nearby walking trails took us to lovely old villages and offered fabulous views. It felt like such a remote little pocket, yet only 10km from the nearest significant town (Ponte da Barca). We definitely plan to go back.

Lovely quiet place with lots of space and shade . Bathrooms were always clean. The restaurant has a varied menu: options for vegetarians and children. There are lagoons nearby, which are easy to get to and great for kids. There are also kayak and stand up paddle activities. Would benefit in having some lockers though, so you can safely leave belongings that you don't want to carry around.
