Not possible to book a table, crowded for the lunch.
But you will be sited 👌. We waited 5-10 minutes (Saturday 13:30).
Plates are very big, for foodies.
We liked fish “grilled bacalao” - spectacular 🤌🤌🤌, lamb 🐑 meat was also good 👍.
Try chestnut pie - not too sweet but very interesting taste.
Service are fast but attentive 🙏

Wow! Divine wood-fired steak simply seasoned with salt and rosemary. Well-marbled and juicy. Both the fries and roasted potatoes are amazing, as is the house red wine. Service was so friendly and enthusiastic. Our server took us through the entire menu and made great recommendations. 600g of steak, fries, roasted potatoes, salad, olives, bread a 1L of wine for 35 euros. Unbelievable value. We went 15 minutes after they opened and got the last parking space. People kept coming (no idea where they parked); the staff opened another dining room! So many families having an a great time.

The service and care was superb. I got there before rush hour but even after the restaurant was full it was still very comfortable and I did not have to wait long for anything.
I tried the Posta and it was one of the best pieces of meat I ever ate. The roasted potatoes were a bit salty but the sauce from the meat would cut the salty flavour.

The best restaurant by far serving typical Trás-os-Montes food. Posta Mirandesa is their prime dish served with fries and salad. Every other dish is pretty good but this is by far the best. The place has free parking, easy access and the prices are more than fair. You can eat at around 12€ per person. The restaurant is usually full and the queues can be long, but even with that you can always enjoy a good wine while waiting, so try to arrive early as possible. It is one of those restaurants that I won't surely forget. Don't miss it!

One of the best cuts of meat I ate in Portugal in a long time for a very very good price! Costeleta de Novilho and Naco are both recomended. Housewine has good price-quality. Congrats!

Very tasty food with big portions! Posta mirandesa is the star dish, one portion is enough for two persons. The desserts are also amazing, from the pudim abade de priscos to baba de camelo, you will have many options.

The hôtel is new and the bedrooms are comfortable and very clean and calm. The continental breakfast is very good.
The restaurant is very good and cheap: traditional cuisine is very tasty. The staff is very friendly and professional.
We stayed 3 nights, ate at the restaurant twice and I recommend them both .

That was the best steak I have ever had. The service and atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. Staff were great and even organised a lift back to our hotel. If you are in the area seek it out. Thank you. Great night.

Friendly staff and unpretentious setting, best steak in the whole area. Few times a 5 star rating is so well deserved.

I’m telling you this was one of the best meals of my life. Saturday night before Easter Sunday and the restaurant is packed full. The boss made room for us and was very hospitable. He offered us the choices and we ordered the veal steak and the veal “cutlet” which was a big T-bone steak. Perfectly grilled on a wood fire, crispy fries,baby potatoes, nice red wine, olives bread everything at a very fair price less than €35! We took food home it was so generous and excellent! Obrigado!

Very delicious steak & lamb ribs at very good price. Steak grilled medium on the charcoal grill. Helpful, friendly service. Definitely recommend it.

Great food and service - fair price

We were passing by with a campervan and saw that was possible to Park. Ended up being the right place for a very good meal in a quiet environment and super service. Everyone was very kind and the Posta was delicious. 😀

Best steak I had in my life so far! But because everything is amazing there many people want to experience it, so be early otherwise you will have to wait in a queue.
