Solar Bragançano

This is the best meal, restaurant and atmosphere experience I've ever had. Maybe I was lucky, maybe we just fitted here I don't know but we went back the next day.

The owner is a wonderful host and the staff brilliant. We need to go back sometime soon. We laughed so much.

The deserts are the owners secret recipe, you have to try them. It was so good we had seconds of the house speciality.

Such a wonderful experience. We both had steak dishes which were delicious and served with rice, potatoes, vegetables or salad. Desert of the house was the perfect light dessert. Owner and serve were very nice. Can't go wrong here.

Simply the best dining experience for our trip. The food is delicious and service first class, 5 stars! Can recommend this place more highly, if you are visiting Braganca, make this your restaurant destination.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious dishes. All the dishes from the "hunt" section are cooked in an iron cast pot. Also, the restaurant maintains the same menu it had since it's opening.

I would recommend the faisão and for dessert the pudim. Also, make a reservation.

Awesome place. Very old fashion style. The balcony with white iron furniture surrounded by trees and plants... Makes you dream far far away. The food is delicious. The service the same. The owner is such a simpatic and friendly person. If you go to Bragança you can't miss this spot... otherwise you didn't really know the city

One of the best Portuguese restaurants in the country. From the amazing Portuguese food to the super friendly service from Sr. Desidério and his wife Sra. Ana it’s without a doubt a must when in Bragança. (I had to go 3 times during my stay)

Excellent service, ambience and food - even the salad was tasty :-) we all had the "nacos de vitela" and it was perfectly cooked, absolutely tender steak. The house wine from a local vineyard was surprisingly good. We were seated in their garden terrace at the back - an unexpected feature for a restaurant in the middle of the city. Sorry we didn't get photos of it because it was late in the evening. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely restaurant, friendly people and wonderful food at a very reasonable price. The free Port at the end of the meal was a lovely surprise. Would definitely go again.

Stunning food. Great for game meat. Had an incredible pheasant with nuts and Mapa Reserva local wine.

Solar is a very special restaurant that made my stay in Bragança memorable. The food is delicious and prepared with attention. If you come by to Bragança, I would highly recommend you to go to Solar.

Go there for the great unusual atmosphere in this very old typical house. Everything is from the fifties there. A real experience. The waitresses were very nice and professional, and so was the owner. The food is correct too. I recommend

Our best meal in Portugal! Amazingly well prepared food, excellent wine list, candleabra-graced table in a warm and homey environment, and the owner went way out of her way to make us and our dinner feel really special. And price was very reasonable.

Lovely garden to enjoy the wonderful dining experience. Food was delicious and service was gracious.
