My husband and I went for late lunch in Alfatima restaurante and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The salad was fresh (hard to find salad this area), steak was very delicious wine list was great and service was very nice. The best restaurant in the town for sure!

Intensely flavoured. Well served, good winelist.
Specialties are beef and italian (risotto, pasta).
Bar with fireplace.
Private parking with rooms for rent on 1st floor.
Rooftop terrace.

We treated ourselves to stay up the mountains with family that came to stay. Weather was crazy wet and needed a place to eat. Found this restaurant and so glad we did. Everything was perfect. The food was superb, the staff were well dressed, attentive and very friendly. The restaurant was very well laid out. We got the chance to chat to the chef which was nice. If you are in the area do not hesitate to go in. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Incredible meat and cheese sharing plates to start, with wonderful steak and stew to follow. Brilliant wine, great service and atmosphere and truly unique decor.

What I can say good atmosphere, good food the menu covers from seafood to steak , chicken, pork they have it all, a very good selection of wine, our server took the time to go through the menu with us. The chef came to our table and make sure the food was not only good but perfect!!! If you visit Manteigas and not go to the Restaurant Alfátima you don’t know what’re you missing, and the best of all you don’t have to pay more to have a good experience.

The food was incredibly delicious and seemed very fresh. They were very accommodating for English tourists, 10/10!

What a fantastic place to lunch! Very good service, insane wine and great sea food. Owner / chef is very kind. We recommend this restaurant! Goid atmosphere. Clean. Not expensive. Wonderful view. Only 20 mins from the highest mountain of Portugal.

Great steakhouse and very comfy stay right above the restaurant. The staff were so nice and friendly. I’m really planning to go back soon.

Edit: I came back on the restaurant last weekend and had an amazing experience again. Food were amazing and the staff were so nice, also with my pet who was very welcome!

After a long day of motorbike riding, we eat the dinner in Alfatima steakhouse, good choice, regional starter after 5 of us 5 different menu, all was delicious. Waitresses helpful and very nice. Thank for extraordinare dinner!👐

A must-go restaurant in the heart of the Serra.
Amazing food and service. Very polite and attentive waiters. The chef himself came to ask if everything was alright. Wide wine range with wines from the region. Carne de javali was delicious.
If you aren’t full from the well-served meal, I highly recommend trying the desserts. One of the best apple pies i’ve ever had.

Very good food with unique presentation and super friendly service for a fair price! A must go, if your in or around Manteigas.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst exploring the area and enjoying the walking routes.
Had a fabulous breakfast with such variety and choice. After our walk we enjoyed a cool beer up on the terrace. Highly recommended.

My family and I had dinner on April 1, 2023 (no prank).
Very courteous and friendly staff, but not overbearing.
Very comfortable, spacious and cozy. I found the background music created an excellent atmosphere.
Everything was excellent - wide variety of entrée dishes and the main courses - veal and baby octopus - were enormous servings and well garnished.
Price was fair considering quality of the plates, but not the place to go if you just want to pay 10-15€ per person. It's a little more.
Highly recommend.

It was an amazing surprise… the chef is amazing and very personal….the food is outstanding… it’s a must!
