This BP Service area is perfect for essential items. Ideal for anyone staying at the beautiful village of Castelo Mendo, just a matter of 1km via the rear exit into the local countryside.

The Cafe is spotlessly clean and the staff all very friendly and helpful,

It would be nice to see an EV charger and a car jet wash in future too. 👍

Gasolinera BP situada muy próxima a la frontera entre Portugal y España, amplio aparcamiento, tiene un bar en el que tomar un plato de sopa y un café, “nada más” los precios muy baratos tiene una buena variedad de pasteles y una tienda donde comprar tabaco, bebidas y artículos de la zona, para un alto en el camino está bien, no le pidas peras al olmo.

L'endroit où il faut s'arrêter en allant ou en revenant, car il en a une de chaque côté.
Je recommande les bifanas et en dessert le pastel de nata avec un super feuilleté et un léger goût de citron ... délicieux !

Нормально 1-ая и крайняя парковка на границе Португалия - Испания персонал приветливый, туалет бесплатный можно перекусить, на калонках заправочных бумажные салфетки, только бывает заканчиваются и надо идти на кассу

Um lugar que sabe receber os motoristas com experiencias de muitos anos a bem servir...pena o park de pwsados estar em pesssimaa condições...e mal configurado na forma de estancionamento na formatura e locais reservados para mercadorias perigosas e frigoríficos...em primeiro o ADE e no fim do park os frigoríficos...falta conhecimentos e disciplina rodoviária

Town in Portugal

Vilar Formoso is a town and civil parish in the municipality of Almeida, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 2,219, in an area of 15.14 km². One of the most important crossings on the Portugal–Spain border is located just next to the town. Vilar Formoso has a railroad station where the Lisbon-Hendaye express stops daily. The station is covered with tile murals depicting scenes from all over Portugal, including a rare skiing scene. source
