Really lovely family hotel, very nice historic building.

Our only complaint is that we got given the smallest and objectively worst room in the hotel. We got a glance at other rooms, and they are really nice and spacious, we just got the short end of the straw! The rooms aren’t very well noise isolated, so you can hear other tenants in the neighbouring rooms are talking about. However, this is to be expected, as the building is really old and has an old-time, romantic vibe to it!

This 150 year old manor is really a stunning place to be. Some of the rooms are small and some are very large, you just have to plan if size matters. Nevertheless, this place has beautiful balconies, marble staircases, ornate antique furniture everywhere, a study with parquay floors, another sitting rooms with a fireplace, dining room, lap pool and up on the hill where the conservatory was, it has been turned into a little game room. The garden grounds are beautiful as well. If I have a complaint it is only that the towels did not have fabric softener and it is literally like sandpaper, other than that I would come here again and again.

Old villa, beautifully restored. We checked in late and the person who opened the gate waited up for us. Check in was smooth and the room was super spacious and well decorated. They gave us the whole apartment rather than a room. Beautiful location.

Hotel Sintra Jardim is a charming old manor that is nestled in the midst of lush gardens, offering breathtaking views of Sintra’s stunning Moorish Castle. Our room was tastefully decorated and boasted a picturesque view of the terrace overlooking the property's enchanting gardens. The breakfast spread, served daily in the dining room with its quaint cottage-style windows, had a great selection of really delicious food. The overall grounds of the hotel are a true reflection of the magic and mystery that Sintra is famous for.

Whether you're exploring the town or seeking a peaceful retreat, Hotel Sintra Jardim is the perfect choice for a memorable stay. This property encapsulates all of the town’s beauty and charm, making it an excellent base for any traveler looking to immerse themselves in Sintra's captivating atmosphere.

Stayed during low season. Double bedroom with private bathroom.

The quaint 150 year old building and the rooms and their decoration are excellent.

When I checked in late, the receptionist politely but fully explained everything about our stay and gave us directions to the main sights and public bus numbers.

Entering the rooms, with the creaking of wooden floors in your ears, you are greeted by a truly lovely design. Musky incense wafts through the building, giving it a uniform look.

There are two living rooms in the building that could be used for reading or quiet conversation, and the interior design, furniture and furnishings of each are quaint and very nice. They were available until 23:00 in the evening.

Breakfast is served in a lovely room that opens onto a terrace with a fireplace and access to the pool and small garden. It is a simple buffet, but the great thing is that as soon as you sit down at your table, they bring you a fresh pot of coffee and a good crispy loaf of bread (a loaf of bread and a Portuguese croissant). The service was very nice, like a five-star hotel.

Local network connectivity is difficult in the area, but there is WiFi in every room and it worked fine.

Check-out went smoothly. Everything was impressively nice and lovely. I wish I could come back here one day.

Lovely garden, nice breakfast room with breakfast, close to Moor Castle (less than 10 minutes walk to the top), cheap out of season, some rooms with bath.

No hot water after a while when the bath was filled to a certain level. The shower temperature also remained warm (not hot enough to warm the body in winter).

A premium stay, considering it is a 2 stars hotel. For my personal taste this would be the perfect accommodation in all places. Big rooms, vintage appearance, gentle staff and a great location. The hotel is into an old villa, with a strategic position for visiting the beauties of Sintra. The stay is simply relaxing, just walking into the park, (full of trees and benches to sit and read a book), watching up and see the Moorish Castle or taking a swim in the big swimming pool. Then the plus of just leaving the car in the private parking, cross the road an be on the way up to the castles (Moorish and Peña), 30 min walk up the hill, through a shaded and clean step way. Highly recommended.

Quaint but cosy with the most helpful receptionist to assist when I arrived late. (She even helped me to get in through the gate in my unfamilar and overly-large car!)
Beautiful gardens and ample pool with enough breakfast choices to satisfy all tastes.
Highly recommended but make sure and go when it's warm enough to enjoy the pool with a view.
Excellent!

Fabulous hotel and experience. The world is full of hotel chains, if you fancy a break from those, this is ideal. It has an old world charm, the garden is lovely and the pool is massive. Rooms were large with high ceiling and wooden floors. Service was great, especially Mena at the bar. Breakfast was very good, the coffee excellent, it set us up for the days exploring Sintra. I can highly recommend a stay here, we will stay again.

We had a great stay at Sintra Jardim. From the moment we arrived the friendly staff made us feel very welcome. We had the apartment across the courtyard, which was spacy, cool and very comfortable. Very nice bed and pillows, and even a fireplace.
The swimming pool is beautifully situated in the garden, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and easygoing.
In all, we had a wonderful few days!

Just felt in love with this hotel. Historical building, well furnished, awesome garden. Caring and professional staff, who lights fireplace every morning for breakfast and in the evening for intimate conversations. They thoroughly thought-out everything. And it's captivating, for instance fresh orange juice from their farm and so on. Definitely will come back

Great, mid-19th century hotel with a beautiful, lush garden. We stayed in a double room with garden view on the upper floor and it was great. The room was spacious and comfortable (huuuuuge comfy bed) and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, preparing midday snacks and making dinner reservations. It was a little too chilly to use the pool, but that looks great too. The hotel is walking distance from the town of Sintra so you don't have to cram into tuk-tuks or public transport to get around. Would definitely stay here again!

You won't imagine what you'll get for your stay.
It's a simple family hotel, with mot that many stars, but you'll be staying in a magic garden with even a judge swimming-pool if you feel like.
The Reception desk ladies are very Frindly and Helpful, not to forget the lady taking care of your Breakfast!

Stunning view with an amazing architecture reminding the old Portuguese style.

Very kind and nice staff. You can find different types of games in the cozy lobby. Also the old guestbooks since 90s! Another proof of hospitality of the staff. Don't miss checking them, I really enjoyed reading those stories.

The bar has limited options but it's nice to have a cup of tea there in the cold winter nice and enjoying the great fireplace! Don't expect too much from the breakfast menu.

This place was marvelous. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. And they have a staff who were both courteous and knowledgeable about the area. Grounds and the pool were lovely. Parking is very secure. The rooms are charming, with high ceilings, balconies, and some nice architectural details. This place is very close to the Moorish Castle and a short walk into downtown Sintra.

Wonderful hotel, warm and out of the way helpful staff, beautiful rooms and enchanted garden. Location was perfect too. Sadly, we stayed here only for one night, in two rooms, but will definitely return!!

Great little hotel within walking distance of pretty much all restaurants, and with a bus stop just outside for the attractions. Also had a really wonderful garden with a nice pool. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Although the classical style with hundred-year-old construction and furnishings is not for everyone, it fits perfectly with Sintra's spirit. It makes you feel like you're in a simpler time, but without foregoing modern commodities. The swimming pool in the middle of the luscious garden, surrounded with greenery and flowers, was a relaxing delight. The center of Sintra is within walking distance. The breakfast was filling, and the staff accommodating.
