My second visit, the last some years ago, and I really must go back now often. The baked goods are all handmade, and fantastic (especially the spicy sardine bread which is incredible), the prices are great, and the beer selection is unbeatable in this area.
Also good is that it's just slightly outside of the tourist centre (down a small hill from the square) which means it's usually an oasis of calm, too.

An absolute dream! Gorgeous space, lovely outdoor seating and incredible views. Beer was exceptional, especially the IPAs, I was incredibly impressed. Staff was wonderful and kid. I got pizza from the place next door which was fantastic, but all the bread options here I saw other people
Order looked delicious.

The only craft beer bar in the town & they are holding their own. The beer taps were not extensive but offered a good range. We liked the coconut stout. We ordered 3 bruschettas & they are more like crunchy mini pizzas - delicious especially the salmon with capers. We felt very much at home.

If you are in Sintra, miss this place at your peril. Fantastic beer, the freshest woodfired bread you will ever eat, you can literally watch it being cooked, great service and all accompanied by an eclectic soundtrack. Beer and bread what's not too like!

Great little place for a beer and a snack. We had 2 bruschette thinking that one was not enough. The ended up Beijing quite big, btu we finished them regardless. They have vegetarian and vegan options too. The beer is great too as the two owners who are really nice and great to have a little chat too.
Highly recommended.

Very friendly craft beer bar / bread restaurant in central Sintra, which is an easy day (or half-day) trip on the train from Lisbon. Take an early morning train from Rossio station and spend the morning walking the streets and seeing the sites of Sintra before treating yourself to some tasty craft beers (they open at 11 AM). I got a flight of 6 beers to sample a variety and then went back for seconds for the NEIPA hazy. The sours and the stout were also very good. The bread rolls go well with the beer. I can strongly recommend the morcela (blood sausage / morcilla) and spicy sardine bread rolls. Sit outside on the small front terrace if the weather is good. Otherwise, there is additional seating inside. Good music on in the background, English spoken, free Wi-Fi, brew pub merchandise to purchase, and take-away cans and bottles of beer are also available. Only warning, payments are CASH only, so make sure you're good to go in that regard. It is definitely recommended when in Sintra.

A delightful beer bar. We tried Rafeira New England IPA & Mosaic IPA. The snacks were a cheese and ham bread and Chorizo bread - DELICIOUS! Very friendly staff, lovely spot!!

Hidden gem worth discovering. Nestled outside the main downtown area, it's easy to find and offers a refreshing change of pace.

The selection of IPAs on tap is impressive, perfect for craft beer enthusiasts seeking quality brews. Located within a small old market, the ambiance is charming and inviting, with other great food options nearby.

You can order food from any restaurant in the area and enjoy it alongside your beer in the cozy indoor space or the charming small patio.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking a laid-back atmosphere and excellent beer selection in Sintra.

Despite a complete lack of exertion, I decided to stop by before taking the train back to Lisbon. The beer was great ( I had #6 & #7) and interesting variations on IPAs - both were delicious. I also had a bread with cheddar & ham ( chorizo sausage ) and it was also fantastic. Warm, tasty and the bread had a good crunch. There is limited seating out front, but the back uses their kitchen area to great effect.

N.b. they only take cash. In my case that required me to use the ATM which increased my cost by 4 euros because of the ATM fee.

Beer and bread is a fantastic combination and these folks do it well. Good selection of craft beers, friendly service, and a nice view of Sintra Castle.

A must see if you’re in Sintra! Nice craft beers and delicious bread based dishes. A large open kitchen in the middle gives a very vibrant and warm atmosphere. There’s a large choice of food and drinks.
Prices are very reasonable and service is on point.

If you come to Sintra this is a great spot to visit. They do tasting paddles / flight boards so you get to try a wide range of delicious and interesting beers.

They also make their own bread snacks, we had the chorizo one and it was a perfect pairing with the beer.

The team are also really friendly and can make recommendations for you, they know their stuff!

Nice spot to hide away from all the tourists and chill.

Amazing little taproom in the historic downtown of Sintra with 11 taps of local craft beer. They also offer freshly-made bread rolls and bruschetta with various fillings that they make from scratch, which were super tasty.

At Villa Craft you get tons of craft beer! Great selection and the staff can explain all the bottles and tap beer.

If you like beer, make sure to visit this place.

Staff is super friendly. They accept card and cash.

Unfortunately, they close early as most places in Sintra. They have a lot of seatings indoor and also some seatings outside.

The selection of craft beers is excellent but where they really shine is the breads, they are outstanding! Made fresh right in their wood fired oven, everything we had was fantastic! I highly recommended this place. Also very friendly and attentive staff.

Great beer, great cider, good music. You can get a tasting menu with local craft beers for €13. Didn't try the bruschettas but they looked delicious. Also really good pizza and vegan food at the restaurants next door, if you get hungry, or prefer wine. They share tables (but not bills). A bit off the beaten track even if it's just a block away from the big streak, so not quite as crowded with tourists, which is another plus in this tourist's book.

Very laid back craft beer bar with a very eclectic selection of delicious brews. The slow roasted pork was amazing and we got a sampler tray to share.
