What a wonderful little establishment! In gorgeous but touristy Sintra, this little bar is a wonderful haven of excellent food, a handsome and friendly, moustached barman (Daniel). The place is quirky but neat & clean. The food is delicious.
The place is just around the corner from the train station, so I recommend your day of exploring Sintra, start and end there.
A special recommendation: the prices are exceptionally reasonable. It has been many, many years since I last saw a cup of coffee for only € 1,20, or a large stout beer for € 2,80. This cafe needs to become famous.

We absolutely loved to stopp here having a quick espresso with some sweets for only 3.60€!! Later that day we'll decide to come back for a small snack. It's basic, easy going and affordable.

Went here to grab some coffee and a snack. Coffee tastes good, staff is polite, the place is not crowded. Can recommend.

Great place to go have a beer and snack, very chill and friendly, I was warmly welcomed by the bartender who speaks perfectly English. Really unexpensive, not rushed to get another drink or leave, really nice place and not touristic as everywhere else in the historic center

Nice little bar with a cool owner. Enjoyed drinking and watching the FIFA world Cup Portugal vs Ghana with locals.

Extremely reasonable prices. Glass of wine by 1,50 Cana for 1euro. Simple snacks such as toasties and dalads which are very yummy. Defo a nice place to stop by with a accompanying of a locals enjoying a glass of wine by the bar ;)

The best sandwich! Came back again a few days later after our first lunch here and I’ll be dreaming about this ham and cheese sandwich back home. Very kind place

I had a coffee and a pastry. Very affordable and friendly staff that indulged my american taste and gave me extra cream and sugar until the cappuccino was just right!

Sangria is strong and size of one toast is like three normal toasts. Very kind service. Great place.

An excellent place to stop by after Sintra. My first cappuccino in Portugal and it was absolutely perfect. Their chicken toasty was delicious. Zubair, was especially nice to us.

Close to train station. Easy to grab a bite and a beer. 4.50 euro for a litre glass....after a few of these I will contemplate using the baby chair.

... nice place as stop in between, the oldest (Vila) and newest (Estefânia) Sintra... delicious toasts, salads and soup, freshly homemade snacks (also vegan!) by a friendly all-round cook; staff in general very kind... free wi-fi... no table service!
Appreciated if you return the used dishes and cups/glasses as they are quite busy.
Toilets okay and free if you consume something, otherwise a small fee.

This is a nice little local place, where you can have small snacks and a glass of wine or beer. I had a cheese bread, and a very nice salad. their prices are more expensive for dinner then for lunch but that was worth it to me after I hiked up to the castles that day. I enjoyed the Brie and nut toastie and fresh cheese salad.

Excellent value with beautiful views

Nice place for a beer and a quick bite. They get creative with salads and toasts. Got a goat cheese and pineapple sandwich and totally love it. Very laid down atmosphere. Would definitely come back
