I’ve only been at OIS for four months, but the students, staff and parents (and animals!!) form a tight learning community based on respect. It’s TRULY international in curriculum (IB PYP, MYP and DP), in nationalities represented (over 40!) and in outlook (intentionally international). I couldn’t be happier here! (And can’t wait for my son to be old enough to come here!). Oh, and it’s all set in a Portuguese palace from the 1700’s that is nestling in stunning nature! A wonderful place to learn.

Built in the 17th century this school has a lot of charm and history. It's tucked away in a quiet area of Oeiras. The staff I met were helpful, caring and knowledgable. From the outside looking in, it appears to be a wonderful place to learn and teach.
The school offers the The International Baccalaureate for the Middle Years and Diploma Years.

Takling behalf as a student I have to say amazing school and kind teachers. They always make sure learning is fun which is important because it increases your focus, 5 star school defiantly recommend. I moved from another country not knowing English and they were amazing helping me been a student for 2 years now and just graduated to MYP

OIS is an amazing school with an IB curriculum from Y2 to Y13!
Every year there is 100% passing rate in Universities. Great teachers, STEM approach, excellent education and to top all that... a Quinta with a farm and animals and gardening... The HAPPY place to be!
