We were in a rush to catch the show next door (Reservatório da Mãe D'Água das Amoreiras), so the waiter made sure he was able to fast track our order. The service was attentive even when it became full. The space was comfortably warm even though they had the door and a few windows cracked open. The food was delicious and although we did not have the house special (pataniscas de bacalhau e arroz c/ feijão vermelho), the waiter recommend we try them so he brought over two pataniscas. Everything was amazing to say the least including the banter with our waiter. We liked it so much that we returned for dessert and a drink after the show.

Excellent local restaurant. It has an extensive menu and very reasonable prices. I had an excellent Magret de canard au poivre today but also have excellent fish dishes here previously. It is highly popular among locals and it has been full every time that I have been (and also, most times when I have walked by). Service is fast so while I have not had to wait, I would guess the potential wait times are also reasonable. I would highly recommend trying it if you are in the area.

Very good restaurant, full of local residents, it was hard to get a table. I had the best Bacalhau a Bras here. Highly recommended but out of touristic zone.

Very nice food for lunch! Real portuguese food, with fantastic codfish cakes. Try them! I want to go back for dinner...

Incredible, tasty food. Friendly and informed service. Several gluten free options for my celiac wife, including safe french fries. We came twice during our visit, did not disappoint. Recommend the sea bream and the cod fish fritters (fritters themselves are good, but the rice and beans are a can't miss). Serves sagres, the superior Portuguese beer.

Traditional Portuguese restaurant. A favorite for families on the weekends and business people lunching during the week. The proprietor was jovial and a bit witty.
I ordered lamb and thought they were a bit overdone. Their lime cheesecake was a big hit at our table.
We will go back.

Amazing food and reasonable prices. We paid 32 euros for 2 plates with beer and coffee. The Lamb chops dish was best I ate in Portugal. The stuff is friendly and speaks English and French. Highly recommend to visit

Delicious Portuguese cuisine and attentive service. A large number of local diners, which is always a good sign. We look forward to visiting when we return to Lisbon and are in the area.

The restaurant is local and wonderful. I really liked the decor.
Our server was very friendly and recommended great dishes. The cod cakes were exceptional and the veal escolopes so delicious.

The fish was very delicious and the waitors where very friendly and competent. He explained us everything and created a warm and fun ambience. Highly recommend!

Appetisers (salgados) were great, their specialty - pataniscas de bacalhau - were also good. Nice restaurant, good food, not expensive, and gentle waiters. Very good experience!

Amazing health food, very clean place, good service. If you want to try a traditional Portuguese food, that restaurant is perfect. The best patanisca ever and good price. That's important as well.

This hidden gem was amazing. José was our wonderful waiter. Had cod cakes with amazing rice and beans. Cute restaurant with wonderful waitstaff and charm. Highly recommend!

Best meat ever, waiters are really kind!!The restaurant is smoker-friendly. They only accept American Express or cash, but they will walk you to the nearest atm.

Fantastic value for money on this traditional Portuguese eatery

Had a wander to find a place to eat on our first night in Lisbon and settled on this. Glad we did, good food at reasonable prices and good service.
