Fantastic food,really good quality chicken and not to mention their desserts. Family/children friendly and also at your table to make recommendations. Really great service.

Damn great chicken. Authentic piri-piri experience. The half is small portion but great value at just 8 euro including chips. Had a mixed salad to add some substance, 3.50 portion is plenty for 1 person. Best value meal I've had in the Algarve, eating out is so expensive but with dessert and 2 sparkling waters this meal came in at just over 17, compared to average of 30 that's beyond excellent. The servers were helpful and friendly one in particular very attentive. Super busy, and so many locals stopping by for take away speaks volumes about this place. Highly recommended!

We have been here twice since we came on our holiday and guess where we are going tonight absolutely brilliant service 👏 beautiful authentic Portuguese chicken Piri Piri salad, rice and Batata frites Monte Velho red wine it's a definitely a no brainer...

The half plate is a good size, but I could see someone with a strong appetite going for the full chicken at 600g. As a reference in North America, the BBQ chicken we are used too are sizeably larger.

Additional spicy sauce available on demand (really spicy, use sparingly!)

Also, great for people travelling with babies as they have high chairs and the service was quick and efficient.

They do not take bank cards, so bring cash.

Absolutely delicious! Must try if you are in rhe region. Ypu can dine in or simply take away. The only downside they do not accept credit cards, so make sure to have enough cash and some time to wait in a line to pay;)

Delicious chicken and good service. Highly recommended for anyone who is craving grilled chicken.

We had a great family meal at Caso do Franco. We were looking for authentic Piro Piri Chicken restaurant and we were not disappointed. Food was great and service was even better. Had a full chicken and one half chicken for two adults and two teenage children. Service was great and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend if looking for a reasonably priced authentic piri piei checked meal

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Casa do Frango on Wednesday 3 November 2021 following a recommendation by a taxi driver. We ordered a whole chicken (600g) which came with chips, and a tomato salad. (Note: If you are very hungry then one person could easily finish a whole chicken). The chicken was excellent, succulent and crunchy, and the chips were so good. The salad was also good. The homemade chilli oil really sets of the chicken and is well worth a try, other sauces are available. We topped of our meal with a shared caramel mouse which was scrumptious. The total meal came to under 26€ - which is good value for money. 😋

Our driver recommended this place during our stay nearby. During our trip here we went 3 times. The food and hospitality are AMAZING!!! The prices are ridiculously cheap. We went to several business dinners and were here for 7 days and nothing compared to their whole chicken with the piri piri spice/sauce. Order the whole chicken with the sauce, plus some tomato salad. Don't forget their white sangria, it's delicious! We already miss our waiter/friend with the Die Hard tattoo. Don't miss out on this place if you are in town!

Clearly a local place with lots of custom, which is a vreat sign! I think we were sitting in while most people were getting their weekly takeaway for the family! The chicken was excellent with the perfect spice balance. They take your order as a group and plate it onto just one or two plates (we got one and a half chickens with fries and they came as a large plate of chicken and a large plate of fries) so great for communal eating. The chickens are quite small, sl a whole chicken is probably good for one person. Biggest regret of our trip was that we only went here once!

Amazing!! Just what we needed. Good price and delicious. We were served very quickly but I also think that post-pandemic it helps to be patient. Albufeira is missing 15,000 hospitality workers right now, so things are just slower.

Our waiter was Fabio, and he was wonderful. We had a whole chicken for the two of us and that was just right, we ordered also the tomato salad which was excellent. This was the best meal we have had on this trip. Simple, well done food, the piri piri is very tasty, and not too spicy, more flavourful than hot. The wine by the carafe was very drinkable, and it is the first restaurant that we have found wine at a reasonable price. We also had the house desert that was too good :-) We very strongly recommend this place.

I note that most negative reviews are based around wanting more chicken. If you have a complaint isn't that the best one? 🤔

To be fair the weight of the full and half chicken is right there on the menu. It's not a big supermarket rotisserie chicken or for a Sunday roast.
The owner and staff point out their meat is from younger smaller chickens.
It's so tender and tasty. The salad is simple and fresh. The chips are okay.

My advice, get at least a half chicken per person, and just order more if you're still hungry. You won't be disappointed with the quality.
