We had Tania as our waitress tonight. She was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our night! The fish was amazing, complements to Leo, their chef. Thank you Flor do Mar for a lovely night!!

Food was cooked by chef Leo - it was absolutely amazing! Delicious, large portions!

Had a lovely seafood meal and my friend had lamb chops, very delicious! Thank you chef Leo, you are very talented. The service was excellent and the staff smiling lots and had time to chat to us. I would highly recommend.

So, didn’t read any of the reviews before visiting - honestly glad we never as we would’ve missed out. Visited as a couple and can honestly say that the service, speed and food were all excellent. Got a lovely wine recommendation - me not being a wine drinker it was very nice. Food was lovely, steak done as requested, peppercorn sauce really nice and plenty of it. The chips were hand cut and freshly cooked. My partner got the chicken and bacon skewers, also lovey. In actual fact the only place we visited twice during our stay and the waitress remembered us immediately even our side preferences.

Absolutely lovely meal out for our family. After reading the reviews we were apprehensive but found this to be one of the nicest meals we’ve had in Portugal. We were served swiftly and the food came out in good time. (We ate around 9.45pm) They have estimated time of service on their menus so you know how long it will take. Our waiter was polite and we had good conversation with him.
Other reviews tend to put you off, but we couldn’t find fault

We have returned to this restaurant for the first time in a long time and it’s great to see it has changed owners. The staff were so friendly and attentive, (a big change from the last ones) the food was excellent all prepared by the new chef Leo. Tanya our server was great, overall excellent experience we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Great decor reasturant. Great Portuguise fish menu and excellent meat menu. Top wine list and fine deserts. Staff were professional with good service. Very resonable prices.

Thank you chef Leo our meal was fantastic. We had sardines and garlic prawns to start then monkfish and prawn skewers. All of it was exceptional and our best meal of our holiday so far.

Flor de Mar has been a favourite of ours for over 15 years and the recent makeover has helped to make it better than ever! On top of this you have Leo’s great cooking and Tanias fabulous service. It was a really wonderful experience and we can’t wait to return.

Very good food close to the beach - try the picanha and the salmon stick - good price for the region

Great food, great service but above all, very careful with cleansing and with disinfectant everywhere. Recommended.

LOTS of staff, which I always love. We were acknowledged and served immediately. Prices were also much lower than anything else I've had this week! Overall really glad we ate here.

A busy restaurant and rightly so, great food, friendly staff, extensive menu...what more could you ask for? Fantastic place to eat. They were busy but we didn't have to wait long at all for anything we ordered.
