Your expectations will be BLOWN AWAY!! this was BY FAR the most AMAZING dining experience I've had in my years of travel! Order the hot stone main dish with your choice of meats available and you cook and season to your desire.. similar to a raclette meal, but much more personal. WOW 🤯

We went here because it was recommended by a friend. I reckon I now owe him a beer. It's a cosy place with great food and superb service. Top quality food, well prepared and cooked perfectly. The waiting staff are very welcoming and attentive. They're also good with their recommendations.
Restaurante Cabaças is well worth visiting when you're in Lisbon, and I would certainly eat there again.

It is a small and cozy resturant.
It is in the middle of tourist area but it is very authentic.
One word of advice, they only accept cash. Found that out the hard way!

Truly fantastic. We went at 8:30 and were seated right away. Local and delicious food. Meat hot plates were so yummy. Cod fish dish was great. They give bread with butter, cheese, meat and other traditional spreads. We were stuffed!

Servers were exceptionally nice and the inside was so cozy and bustling. Great energy!

It’s a bit tucked away but I think that’s what makes it so cute and exciting.

We had such a great time at this restaurant. The small serving team was extraordinarily friendly and made us feel right at home.

My friend and I had the hot stone dishes — he had the strip steak and I had the veal. Both were delicious. Two of us got the sea bass, which felt under seasoned and so we wouldn’t recommend it as much.

One of us who was vegetarian asked the team what she could eat and was recommended a mushroom omelette. She enjoyed it, and thank you to the restaurant for accommodating!

Finally, the vinho verde was great and we’d highly recommend.

Must visit, best place for naco na pedra or picanha na pedra. Recommended toe by 2 different Lisbon locals and definitely didn't disappoint, I've been back a couple times and will come every time I'm in Lisbon.

They get very busy around 9pm. I had to try the steak on the hot stone. It was recommended by one do the tour guide (sintra day tour on airbnb experience) it was very crowded at the time I went. Wait littlebit but I think it's worth it. The steak was little chewy for me. I think you guys should get the one beef with fat in it. They come with fried and sauce. I didn't care for thr fried but overall it was pretty good steak dinner!

Nice place, food was delicious. I ate a slice of beef from a hot stone. Very important is to know, that they will give you bread and a plate of cheese and meat, but you have to pay for it!

Great place to get hot stone beef steak, the food and the atmosphere is good. Nice restaurant to spend time with friends, family.

We stumbled across this restaurant on the first night of our stay. We were told to wait 20 mins before a table was available. It was worth the wait. Typical Portuguese food at a very reasonable price. The place is small but great vibes, we quickly made friends with a group of locals also sat on our table and had the most fun of evenings!

Good main courses, but I wouldn’t order any starters, they’re not that special and the main dishes are quite big so it’s actually enough.

very popular restaurant with hot stone and regular steaks. the big peace of meat on the hot stone (not the slices) are of great quality! however the french fries are not that good.. just go at 5 to 7pm and you don't have to queue.

One of the most authentic restaurants in lisbon. The food was great, the wine also!

I would not call it a fancy restaurant but rather a true local food experience. Hosts don't speak English, but one of them speaks Italian and the menu takes a while to be understood. The meat is delicious and the price is low for the quality. The meat comes served with a burning stone. I recommend it.

Had such a nice evening here. It looks very chaotic but don't let that put you off. The staff are super friendly and the service is quick. The food was amazing! We had the steak and mushroom which was super tender and the tentacle rice which was so delicious and such a huge portion! The sangria was also delicious. Would definitely recommend (and really reasonably priced too!)
