Onda Cocktail Room

This place is an absolute must if you love a high-quality cocktail! It's all they do, and they do it to perfection. We found this place while walking back to our apartment one night and then spent the next 3 nights going back to it because we could not get enough! They offer an amazing selection of carefully curated cocktails, each made to perfection. If you're lucky, you'll get to chat to either Joanna or Peter, and they are the kindest, most passionate people you'll meet. They love what they do, they're happy to share all the insights as to how they developed each cocktail, the thought and love they put into each one, and they'll be glad to make a recommendation if you're feeling like you can't decide. It is truly a gem in Lisbon.

Cocktail Bar own by a couple from Ireland and Brazil. They are super kind and I really like their concepts of drink! The bar is located the highest viewpoint in Lisbon.

As all the reviews have said the cocktails are very unique and extremely tasteful. We tried many of the drinks on this menu late at night and they did not disappoint. They do create new ones all the time so make sure you ask for what's unique and new.

This was a true gem, most fun we had in Lisbon! Came for a nightcap, left 2 hours later… the amount of knowledge on everything type of alcohol being served there was impressive, whiskey, mezcal, you name it! If you aren’t sure about a drink, you’ll get a sample. Going off the menu was not a problem either! A mix of personalities behind the bar and on the floor makes the bar a true pleasure! A shame we only found it on our last day.

Thank you for what you are doing, please don't change anything. I'm admiring your passion, creativity and humbleness. You are so talented you could open big places that would have huge success but you chose a small place like Onda cocktail room to make what you're passionate about, and to that I can only say bravo !

With over 100 cocktail bars visited worldwide, The Onda in Lisbon ranks easily in my top three. The attention to detail, the elegant flavors of the cocktails served, and the overall taste are just about second to none. Service was amazing, and I would be hard pressed to describe another cocktail bar where I truly felt relaxed. If you have the time and love unique, flavorful cocktails, do yourself a favor and visit Onda. I don't feel you will be disappointed.

What an amazing cocktail place!!
The service is incredible, we didn't like one of the drinks and even before we finished the sentence it was taken from us and straight away offered a different (unlike other places in Portugal). The cocktails we had were unique, tasty and one of a kind. I definitely recommend this place for cocktails lovers!

My boyfriend came here on a trip last January and could not stop talking about it, eventually talked me into going back to Lisbon for our 5 year anniversary (not a hard sell, its culturally rich and gorgeous) just to come back to Onda. The location, the menu, the staff and the ambience far exceeded my already high expectations. We chatted with two seperate strangers for hours while sipping on the most divine cocktails I have ever, and probably will ever drink. If you’re in Lisbon, Portugal, Europe, or just on the planet and have the means, go to this cocktail bar. You will not regret it.

We were recommended to pop by this amazing Cocktail Room during our city break in Lisbon and it was fabulous. Peter the owner gave us great tips on how to enjoy the city, we loved it so much we booked the following evening for pre dinner drinks which were delicious. You can sense the effort that they put into their Artisan Cocktails in every sip, As a drinks industry professional, I was blown away by the taste, delivery and contagious passion that Peter has put into designer cocktails. Make sure you put this on Your gourmet list while visiting Lisbon, Seriously delicious cocktails made by very nice people.

The cocktails at Onda are incredibly creative! It's a wonderful little bar with great cocktails, sometimes with very unusual combinations. The menu describes the flavour profiles well, so even if you can't find your favourite cocktail on the menu you can find something you will like. All cocktails we tried were delicious and we tried some of the more unusual ones with beetroot and mustard. Service was also super friendly and fast. Highly recommended!

I have to say my 3 nights in Lisbon was made special by visiting & tasting the beautiful crafted cocktails in Onda Cocktail Bar. The bar has great character & the background music is cool. The staff really looked after me so well & I will definitely pay a visit next time I return to Lisbon. Amazing bar. Our drinks were innovative & incredible. Loved the mezcal one w/red pepper & rhubarb. Great bartenders & awesome playlist. Would 100% return if we find ourselves in Portugal again.

We just wanted to head out for one cocktail to end up our night, we stayed for three each in the end, because they just blew us away.

We were hosted by Peter and Joana in a great fashion. They explained every little detail about their cocktails, which are just packed with innovative flavour combinations. My favourites were the Ta Krai Mao, since I am a lot into Thai flavours and El Caribeno with their peanut-infused whiskey. My girlfriend loved the Virgin Fruit.

As a summary: Go there, you will probably have some of the best cocktails of your life.

The BEST, most complex cocktails you will ever have in your life! The service and conversation with Peter, Ed, and any other staff will be top-notch and unforgettable. Do not miss a chance to experience such an incredible hidden gem in Lisbon.

The highest quality cocktails created with so much imagination. Amazing experience drinking these delicious creations in the most beautiful little cocktail room. A must when visiting Lisbon, you will not experience cocktails like this anywhere in the world.

I've been to the world's best cocktail bars, from the refinery of Sips to the flamboyance of Paradiso and the exquisite Connaught Bar and yet I'm not sure any of them provided me with as memorable and experience as Onda did.
I had their version of an Old Fashioned, the special (ask the owner-she served it at her wedding) the one sip cocktail that came with caviar and the chocolatey one. I forget the names but you'll know when uous we the menu.
All were outstanding, unique flavours and I'm usually always either an Old Fashioned or White Russian though I have to say the Special which is like a light, floral fresh version of a Pina Colada (and this description doesn't even do it justice) is one of the best cocktails ive ever tried. You just simply have to try.
I honestly can't understand how this has been overlooked for one of the worlds best cocktail bars never mind Lisbon.
Aside from the cocktails the customer service is literally the best. The staff who made the drinks the owner are all happy to sit with you and discuss what went in the drinks and their passion and just general chitchat and it all adds positively to the experience.
When I come back to Lisbon this is the one place ill search out and anyone I know I'll be sending them this way.
Still a hidden gem and the selfish part of me wants to keep it that way.

Excellent cocktails and a beautiful cosy little bar with a friendly welcoming atmosphere! Easily the best cocktails I’ve ever had! We randomly stumbled across Onda it turned out to be the best cocktail bar in town! Owner Peter is a great host with great taste in music! I was Shazamming all night. It was early on a Thursday evening we managed to get ourselves a table. He did mention the bar would get busy after 5pm at weekends and customers usually book. We didn’t make a reservation but wanted to go back the next day and thought we’d try our luck but the place was packed. It’s definitely on my itinerary next time in Lisbon.

Absolute 10/10 experience! The cocktails here were delicious, unique, and beautifully crafted. Every ingredient is made from scratch and you can truly taste the difference. We are big craft cocktail fans & these definitely topped our list! Favorites = Bazaar & Milk Punch. The staff here were also so friendly and wonderful. We had a fantastic time, and I only wish I wasn’t just visiting so I could be a regular!
