Stumbled upon this bar accidentally and spent the rest of my night here, amazing little bar, really good jazz music and very romantic. Roy is an absolute gentleman. Visit this pub, at least for one drink

Rui is an absolute hero! Visited the black cat after a recommendation from a friend. Visited on my first trip to Portugal in 2019 and twice the summer on 2022. What you'll notice is that once you enter the black cat, you instantly become family to Rui! This man takes pride in making others feel happy. Arrived on my birthday (second visit of my trip). Rui surprised me with not only a personalised cake with my name on it but also a complimentary bottle of bubbly! The kindest soul you will ever meet! Hopefully will see him on my next visit to Olhas de agua! 10/10 would recommend!!!!

This bar may be hard to find however it is well worth the effort … great music and atmosphere if not a little different to the bars around the resort … worth hunting out it will not disappoint ….

The easiest 5 stars I could give in our time in the Algarve. Gorgeous host, music, surroundings. Go!

The owner is so welcoming and we had a great few nights here :) he is super friendly and helps connect you with other guests. Really quirky spot with great music and enjoyed getting to know the owner - we attended one of his friends birthday drinks which he hosted which was a great laugh!

Lovely venue for a relaxed evening with classic music hits from the 50s 60s 70s. Not a big place but very cosy and laid back.
Fabulously hosted by Roy, a very charming and friendly guy. Always immaculately dressed and happy to see you. Highly recommended.
