We had a pleasant lunch here in a traditional and local Portuguese restaurant. Staff are friendly, food is amazing!

- Mixed board of cheese, ham and sausages: very tasty

- Fried codfish with slices of fried potatoes and onion: the portion is larger than expected, codfish is thick and fresh, not easy to find elsewhere! Seasoning is good and love the way they fried the fish and potatoes.

- Rice of codfish and prawn: again, the portion is larger than expected, definitely gonna make you feel full. Fish and prawn very fresh and rice is al dente.

I’m sure you will this place better than the usual tourist restaurants.

Amazing food served in a traditional style. When we were here there were only locals dining, which is always a great sign!

It looks like a family run restaurant and it does feel like eating homemade food. Delicious. We had the Bife da Vazia and Vitela Estufada. Recommended!

Amazing food. I had the soup or the day which was only 2 euros but full of flavour. The main course was sole fish with tomato rice (had corriander) and mixed salad. Everything worked together. They spoke English without any problems. Will definitely come back

Amazing experience! Super nice and welcoming staff, great service, perfect quality. We had octopus slad as starter, and steak as main course and it was so good. Steak comes with rice, beans and potato (chips), and its more than enough for two people.
Highly recommended.

Simple and lovely place. Excellent for local food. The owners are lovely and the service is exquisite. Price is very affordable. We ate here 5 times already and will definitely return.

A gem of a restaurant in Belem!! Went twice in 4 days and the food, was absolutely fantastic! Warm and friendly service and great wine suggestions. Forget the menu and roll with the house recommendations. The octopus, seafood and rice, pork and John Dory were outstanding and the starters and queijo fresco delicioso! A special experience and we were really well looked after. Muito obrigado Andorinhas. Hopefully see you again soon!

Wonderful smaller place with an upperclass feel. The service was impeccable and the food, fantastic.
All three dishes we had (fish, pork and octopus) were top notch.

Fantastic. Great food at reasonable prices. Local restaurant - we didn't see any tourists. Waiter was very sympathetical and attentive, suggesting us what to take but not selling/pushing us to order something. We had a shrimp soup/sauce, squid and some apetizers. Everything was fresh and definitely one of the best squid I had ever tried. We would definitely come back if we had the time.

Fabulous meal and hospitality. So glad I was told to try this restaurant. Thank you David for telling me about the side door to the church, for €1.50 I was able to see it all and there was no line, I owe you!!

Highly recommended. Outstanding food and service. We shared an aged tomahawk steak, which was seared on a grill then brought to the table with a hot stone to allow you to cook further to your taste. Octopus salad, great wine, chocolate mouse and more. Staff was extra friendly and explained in English all the options and history. All that for a reasonable price. We will come back :)

Superb superb superb! Six of us had several courses and the fish was incredible. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Chef Luis was a great host who made us feel most welcome. He explained his creative Portuguese cuisine and helped us choose. Everything was delicious! We will be back!

Very good food with very good prices! The employees are super friendly aswell. If you are searching for a nice cozy restaurant, where you become happy the moment you step inside, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic hospitality and service here. The menu is in Portuguese but the owner happily translated and made suggestions.
We went with a local octopus specialty and grilled chicken dish. Fabulous, scrumptious!

The staff was about mingling with customers, even the chef, to make sure everything was enjoyed.

Highly recommend coming here for a truly authentic gastronomic experience!

Very good food. We had fish dishes and great appetizers. It's a family restaurant and the staff is very sweet. They don't speak a word of English, but somehow we made it work. They have an English menu. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent service, very good food with an outstanding quality/price ratio. Cuisine is heavy and oily but really tasty, just consider that digestion will probably take you a bit more than an afternoon of walking. Make sure to go there!
