What an amazing site!
Perfectly equipped
Large hard standing pitches in good shade, tables, electric point and water at each pitch. Lovely clean wash rooms and toilets, super amazing shower power.
Lovely little animal farm, cockerel talking away every morning.
Great washers and dryers which you can use a card with so no coin drama.
Mini market, cafe and pool
Amazing proximity to Lisbon either by bus or Uber (7-10 euros)
Just outstanding!!

We stayed in January 2024 in our motorhome. The site is lovely. After reading other reviews I was thinking that I didn't expect too much, but it exceeded in every way. We wanted to visit Lisbon and were travelling with our two small dogs. We've travelled through France and Spain. And have had no issues however in Portugal dogs are not allowed on busses unless in a proper travel case. I have no idea what you do with larger dogs. Anyway we could either buy travel cases from decathlon which is over the road, or book them into the pet hotel next door. We'll my dogs have never been in kennels, we popped to the pet kennels next door, chatted to the staff and thought that rather than take the dogs in the travel cases in the heat, it was January and over 20°, which is warm for my old dog used to northern England. During the day the staff sent us a what's app of the dogs going for a walk.
So if you are travelling and want to visit Lisbon, I'd definitely recommend Lisbon Camping. I'd also recommend making sure you either have the appropriate dog carrier or make sue you bring a record of all your dogs vaccinations. We also used the Bolt app to get a taxi into Lisbon, it was 6 euros. The bus is about 2 to 2 euros pp.

Not cheap, but very Big. A lot of space, green and all services for caravan. Using bikes, even electric, is very risky in Lisbon - there is good Road for Bike, but IT have unexpected ends & than you must fight for your live with buses, cars and motorcycles. Only for fans of extreme sports ;-) This is a mountain city, choose public transport. But in the end of a Day- Lisbon is simply the Best.

Lovely camping site with loads of trees and birds. Excellent shower (pressure and temperature wise). I'm driving my own car but there are bus stops nearby.

Huge campground, for people with tents it’s good, electricity is included with all the amenities you need. Reception is open 24/7 too. And it’s easy to take a bus into town. Price is little bit more pricy but it’s Lisbon I guess.

Ignore the Moaners!

Given the number of poor reviews, we were very apprehensive about staying at Lisboa Camping, but as others have pointed out, there aren't really any other options close to the city.
On arrival we were checked in by a warm friendly lady, who explained everything and even gave us a bus timetable.
Our pitch has its own EHU and sink with potable water, as do all the pitches I believe.
The site is set in woodland so it has a rural feel, even though it's so close to Lisbon centre. There's a main road somewhere nearby, but the noise isn't intrusive.
The facilities are great - clean and modern, plus a big pool, with snack bar and sun beds.
Yes, it's definitely the most expensive site we've used on our trip around Spain and Portugal (they gave us 10% discount with our ACSI card)
However, I'm a Brit, and you'd never get a site this close to London no matter how much you were prepared to pay.
An Uber into the city cost us €8 each way and they turn up within 5 minutes.
Overall I'd highly recommend this site.

Really expensive but hey ho by a city so what do you expect. Concrete pitch brilliant with Own hook up and water. We found the reception staff brilliant friendly and helpful as were all the campsite staff. Showers and toIlets clean and nearby. Yes restaurant next door noisy but definitely bearable and always off at 23.00 so peaceful night. Shop staff bit rude restaurant staff helpful. Easy cycle to Belem which is gorgeous with parks cafes and bridge over the river. We would def stay here again.

Because of the mixed reviews I took a look around the camping ground before booking; the reception was fine with that. The camping ground is HUGE! I had a positive impression, so I booked the minimum of 5 nights for 15€ per night for one tent (don't know what's up with this requirement though). I can't confirm most of the complaints. The showers and toilets get cleaned once a day and they're totally fine to use. The showers and sinks have hot water any time I used them. And apart from stuff other campers leave behind, it's actually clean. We were told to put up our tent wherever we wanted and found a nice spot. Most places have shade. And since Portugal has chill nights, it doesn't matter if the sun heats up your tent during the night.
You have two buses in walking distance; one gets you to Alges in 10 minutes, from where you can take the metro to the beaches or into the center of Lisbon. The other gets you close to the center (30 minutes I think).
The only thing I can confirm: on the north side of the camp is a restaurant that plays loud music until 10 pm. But my tent is located a bit south from the entrance where I can still hear the music but isn't obnoxious. The highway produces a low noise which is fine for me too. If you need absolute silence to sleep, take some ear plugs and you're fine.

Take the reviews with a grain of salt. It's a camping ground and not a 5* resort.

New to the RV world. This is one of the nicest we’ve come across in our ten days on the roads of Europe. Clean facility. Enjoyable staff. Easy parking spots. Lots of activities to choose from. Would definitely stay here again. And for 21 Euros - not bad! Each site has it’s own trash can and water/electric. Plenty of shade is nice too. Dog friendly. Hot water and good water pressure.

Reasonable price with clean/new showers and toilets. Big wash/laundry/kitchen areas. Seemed like a lot of permanent set ups. Loads of cats (positive for us 😂) Not super far away from town. We got Uber’s in (€6ish) to the botanical garden and then got trams/walked. I would happily stay again.

It's amazing to have such a nice camping surrounded by nature in the middle of Lisbon. We went with our two dogs, they let us stay a bit further from other people or to even choose a place to our convenience!
The facilities are really good and the people working there are super nice!

Great campground very near the heart of one of my favorite cities, Lisbon. There is no more authentic city experience than that of Lisbon. It is anything but pretentious. It is unassuming and reflects the hospitality and positive attitude of the Portuguese people. It has a great history and excellent dining, especially in restaurants that specialize in leitao. Explore it by taking the trams and just wander around. A true pleasure time and time again...

Must say it's way better than the reviews. For A city campisite set in wood it's great. Uber into Lisboa was circa 10 euro. Bargain city break

Great place to stay, has all the facilities you could want. The bus ride I to Lisbon takes an hour, but the taxis are quick and inexpensive

Fantastic pitches, each with its own fresh water tap and drainage as well as electricity. Very welcoming cafeteria with tasty and extremely cheap 'prato del día' (meat or fish). Toilet/shower block clean and would be lovely in the summer with the built in ventilation. Handy bus stop for half hour journey to city centre.
