Food is great, service very kind and the garden is very cosy. Choice of soft drinks is pretty limited, but it is not a big deal.

Great local spot serving Portuguese cuisine, the perch was outstanding. The kitchen understands gluten free which further expands your options. If you're lucky enough to have Ricardo é serve you the local experience will be that much better.

Excellent service. We ate seabass salad and shrimps for starter, the shrimp was cleaned already. I ate veal, asked for medium and it was medium indeed. Nice terrace and interior as well.

Nice terrace in a peaceful and charming square. Cozy place, really lovely, helpful and knowledgeable waiter... and beautiful selection of local tapas (special mention to the Tomatada)... Must try: their vintage Porto wine !

Great experience, the service was lovely even though we came only an hour before closing, they treated us really well. Good wine suggestions, food was delicious, and the space is relaxing with art everywhere.

Good food. Quality products and simple flavours. Got the octupus (which is very hard to cook correctly) and it was just perfect. Also the restaurant is in one of the prettiest piazzettas of Lisbon. Oh! And nice - cheap - house wine too.

We randomly found Bem-Haja while just walking around the neighborhood. It was a very inviting entrance and so we said let's try it.

It was the best decision of the day. The staff was friendly and nice. When I ordered my cheese, they hadn't had their delivery yet so they said they'd "make something special" for me. I got this cheese wrapped in pastry dough and fried that was stellar. SO GOOD. We eventually got the other cheese too and I just swooned, and all that was just prelude. I had this chicken stuffed with... something delicious. I still don't know what exactly it was, it had the texture and taste of smoked paprika and breadcrumbs, but it was also some sort of sasuage filling(?). And oh! the flavor was amazing. Even the desserts (a buffet table) were extremely good; I should have gone for seconds but I was full by then.

My only suggestion to them is that their dessert table needs a little work in terms of presentation. The desserts are SO GOOD, but some are presented in foil which doesn't look as appetizing as it should, but I tried half of them and they were heavenly.

Anyway, go to this restaurant, it deserves a line outside!

As a tourist I think the food is quite good. We ordered octopus and bacalao bràs, very delicious. The waiter is very cute and polite.

Spent 4.5 days in Lisbon, and ate here twice the food was so good. Excellent white wine. The cheese starter is lovely, the shrimp is outstanding (sop up the olive oil with bread.... unreal!) The octopus is incredibly succulent and the cod was delicious - this is all coming from a woman who doesn't really like seafood... the staff are sweet as pie. Not everyone speaks English but it is in Portugal afterall...

We had a lovely dinner in a outside table overlooking the quiet plaza, away from the crowds. Food and wine was excellent! I loved it there

Excelente food & service. Very cozy restaurant with an incredible terrace, facing picturesque view of Lisbon old neighborhood. It's also located in a historical Lisbon region. Excellent Portuguese Typical Food...including the marvelous cod fish :) Good selection of Portuguese wines :)
