Camping Os Anjos (Campismo Rural)

Lovely simple, quiet campsite in an idyllic rural setting. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and helped us get the most out of our short visit. It was blisteringly hot while we camped there, but there is a very nice small pool to cool down in, and cold beer available on the terrace! Toilets and showers are basic but clean, and there is plenty of space for washing dishes. This is a great value for money, simple, rural campsite in an outstandingly beautiful area. Dog friendly!

Fantastic simple quiet campsite in idyllic rural location. Lots to do in both the countryside and the small town of Campo Maior.
The site is very well maintained and the owner very friendly and spent time each evening talking to us over a glass of wine or beer, he is very knowledgeable about the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The campsite is very calm and with the right services. The swimming pool was a nice plus. The perfect first stop in portugal coming from Spain. Campo Maior is a nice little town and there’s many other things to do. Price-quality very good.

Absolutely beautiful place. We had a chance to stay only for one night, but I hope that someday we will go back here. Very nice people, beautiful view and great atmosphere. Swimming pool also great! Everything in good price. Thank you very much! Our first hours in Portugal was really wonderful!

Only one night stay...although pictures show grassy pitches it was very dry, dead bushes, and very little shade but then, the heat wave in Spain and Portugal has been horrendous. Shower block was very clean...no complaints. Would recommend it and would go again.

Had a lovely stay (3nights) at Os Anjos. Camping site is surounded by olive plantations, toilets and showers are clean, swimming pool is perfect to relax, also you can buy fresh drinks (not expencive) at the reception. This all you need 👌🏻

Perfect ! Lovely campsite runt by a friendly Dutch couple Jorge and Solange . We stayed several days because there is a lot to do and see.
Beautiful view close to Campo maior and a refreshing pool with bar.

A small quiet campsite with far reaching views. Large terraced level pitches. Very clean facilities. Friendly, helpful owner will provide details of walking and cycling routes and much local information. Short pleasant walk to Campo Maior which has interesting old town and castle plus restaurants and supermarkets. Highly recommended this campsite for long or short stay.

Stunning views. Right in the middle of olive plantation. Owner very welcoming has a beautiful swimming pool to relax in. Has very clean toilets and showers and sinks to wash dishes and clothes. Shops and bars in walking distance but camping Os Anjos has it own little bar. Very special place will definitely go back so relaxing and peaceful.

Very friendly welcome from host. The most prestine campsite we have visited on our trip (and the shower has hot water) would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet tranquil stay. 2 people, a camper and a dog 18 euros mid September. Would definitely visit again

Nice camping in the middle of the countryside but within walking distance of the town. Lovely pool area with double longers and relaxing bar space. Lots to visit in the surroundings and helpful guidebook and information given by the owner made me stay an extra day. Clean toilets and hot showers

Very friendly dutch owner, has plenty of useful information on the surrounding sites to visit.
Has a good collection of books in a few languages. Shaded pitches or sunny pitches with a good view. Recommended by two people who have been on the road for 75 days.

Small rural campsite near town of Campo maior where we did our shopping and had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants. The owners are lovely people who are very helpful and who told us a lot of Campo maior and Elvas . We will come back because there is still a lot to visit

I enjoyed my short stay here. The owner is really welcoming, the camping is well organised, and the shared spaces are clean and in order.

This is a superb little site. We have visited at least once a year for the last seven years, this year in May.
It is really peaceful, well laid out, excellent toilets showers etc.
Will be there again soon!
