A good choice for the fish cataplana stew.

Just be aware that the cataplana is a huge dish and the two of us struggled to finish it.

Amazing food. Properly done. Had it with white and red port.

Great beef steaks, good atmosphere, friendly and polite stuff.

This restaurant literally saved us for lunch: staying at Pine Cliffs are looking for something more traditional, we stumbled upon O Pinhal at 4PM hoping they still served lunch…and they did, welcoming us with open arms. Food was good, tasty and of good quality, and with an unbeatable price-quality balance. The sardines are sure value but their “espetadas” (meat in stick) looked amazing too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem near Pine Cliffs, and it exceeded all expectations. Tucked away from the touristy hustle, this place offers an authentic culinary experience that is a must-try for anyone in the area.

If you're staying at Pine Cliffs and want to go somewhere close for lunch, this is the place to go. It's cheap, big portions, and food is great! Fresh fish either by the kilo or portioned out.

Service is great too and lot of locals go here as well, which is a good sign for local restaurants around a resort.

Incredible restaurant! We ate there 3x and the meals were incredible! The garlic shrimp and small squid were incredible!

A family friendly and affordable restaurant with a wide variety of menu items ranging from seafood to steak to a burger. The prawns I had were excellent and the service was super friendly.

The evening meal was brilliant, some of the best cooked fish we had on our trip. The price was very reasonable and service was quick & efficient. We ate early so there were quite a few children there too, so it was quite noisy. But I'm sure that later on in the evening the atmosphere would be more suited for groups of adults.

Happened upon O Pinhal after an afternoon at Praia da Falesia and so glad we did. Devious and affordable Portuguese food. Mind you - I’m
Portuguese and have visited Portugal annually or more for 30 years. Our meal was delicious.

We had the shrimp soup (sopa de camarão) not pictured), house wine and grilled salmon (salmão grelhado) and grilled sea bream (robalo).

Great local restaurant, quality food and far better value than the hit and miss and overpriced restaurants in the Pine Cliffs resort. Our waiter Daniel was very helpful with the menu and recommended some great wine to accompany an excellent sea bream. The steaks looked great too!

Very nice restaurant. I visited twice during my stay in the area, both times the food was excellent.

Excellent prato do dia. 8 euros for grilled fish was excellent value. Lovely wine and service. We were very happy and will be back.

Great place to have an affordable and tasty meal with a nice bottle of hose red. Recommend you book so that you are not disappointed. Service is top notch, they all work tirelessly and are friendly. Food is amazing. Will be back again and again.
