Authentic and delicious food with extremely reasonable prices! We were so thrilled with the meal we had here. The seafood rice was a highlight, along with the fried codfish.

One of the best meals i had in Portugal!
Coffee sauce steak was taste i have never tried before. I loved their fries and the bread soup wasn’t what i expected but my favourite!

Service amassing. Of course not the best atmosphere but the food really good!!! Not the typical tourist restaurant, so the prices were far better!!! And to be noticed the attention of the waiters was really great

After 10 days travelling in Europe, I crave for the comfort of O Prado restaurant .. for grill sea bass and mackerel. I love their veggie plate with rice too. I have see other tables ordered shell fish dishes and sea fish rice - looks great, though I canny attest to them as I have not tasted. The 4 service team members are very friendly. The big one will always find you a table. The others even crack a joke in the busiest moments. One of them would show off his multi-language skill in greeting .. even in Chinese! Haha.

This is definitely the best Portuguese restaurant in the Belem neighborhood. The waiters are friendly, helpful and super speedy in their work. We were about to leave after looking through the menu because there weren’t any vegetarian options for us. When we told the waiter, he said the chef can do a stir fried vegetables w potatoes and rice dish and it turns out very tasty! The vegetables soup is also very yummy. And the price is very reasonable! Will definitely be back to try others.
We returned for lunch at 1.30 pm and there was a long queue outside. We waited for 30 mins before we get a seat inside. It’s buzzing w customers and service going on and everyone r enjoying their food and drinks. We ordered the eel it’s so plump and fresh, it’s outstanding! We didn’t need any sauce to go with it - just wanted to savor the freshness of the meat. It’s was by accident that we got this because the waiter told us that mackerel was sold out. He recommended “fried egg and rice”. We were confused but since he’s very busy and the restaurant is packed, we said ok. And what a surprise that it’s truly an amazing dish!! We can’t wait to b back again! Perhaps for early dinner to avoid the crowd. By the time we left at 2.30 pm, there is still a line of people waiting to be seated in the super cold weather outside! They must love their food to be standing in the cold out!! That’s testimonial of their food.
The price is truly reasonable.

The dishes were incredible! Grilled fish cooked just right, and the grilled mackerel, oh my, that sauce takes it to another level! Regretting not ordering some bread to soak up that amazing sauce 🥲🥲

Portions are a bit small, but prices are super reasonable, so don't hesitate to order more!

For an authentic taste of local cuisine, this spot is a must-visit!

The vibe was good for us, but if you're after a fancy dining experience, this might not be your spot.

We had amazing food and house-made sangria here. Best sangria we have ever had. The grilled seabass, the grilled sardines, the tuna, and the beans/sausage dish were so good. Highly recommend for authentic food. We sat outside so the the atmosphere was busy with buses, cars, and bright lights. It is worth checking out!

Excellent food, excellent and quick service, some real rarities on the menu like Linguado. We enjoyed our time and the atmosphere there very much!

Typical Portuguese food in REASONABLE prices. Service is direct and friendly. Mussels in tomato sauce and tuna fillets with vegetables, along with some vinho verde was my choice. I'll return when in Lisbon, for sure! Obrigado!

Super authentic, really delicious food. Awesome service. Reservations are recommended because the line up can get really long - which tells you how great it is. We had to wait maybe 20 minutes but it was well worth it. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend their grilled escargot and sardines.

Great place with exceptional food and it's really worth the wait. The staff and the kitchen are so well organized and everything goes so smoothly.
And the food.. that's really the next level. First, shrimp - I don't even like sea food and this was so good, with olive oil, garlic and chilli marinade. Then the main course, veal - huge portions and so well prepared. With that, definitely order wine - Beira Serra is such an earthy, rich red wine.
And the last thing - price. We couldn't believe how cheap it was.

Great local restaurant close to Belem. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Great value for money. We all got the seafood rice because it looks so good, and we all really enjoyed it - lots of prawns!
Will definitely be back.

This spot was a pleasant surprise. Located straight from the more touristy side of the street, this genuine Portuguese restaurant serves an amazing assortment of seafood dishes. The portions are very generous. Prices are comparably less than the restaurants at the other end. Service was so pleasant. They only had one server and he worked at full speed to service every table (inside & out). The restaurant accommodated a request for extra potatoes and salad. All served without question.

We were told to try this place. And it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was exceptional. Black pudding was amazing, the snails over the top. The white sangria was so awesome my wife asked for a liter to go. And they accommodated her. Would love to go back.

Honestly - I hadn't planned to come here. I was looking for O Frade but being dispraxic, turned right instead of left (🤦😳) but a line of people were hustling in ahead of me and I followed them out of FOMO.

But the service was so welcoming and friendly that even after sitting down and realising I was in the wrong place, I stayed. Seating is either at a bar, or at long tables, shared where individuals, couples and groups are squeezed in together - in a good way.

Having planned an entirely different meal I panicked when the waiter came for my order and just asked him to recommend. He ordered the pork with clams and fried potatoes, which I might not have chosen myself, but which was excellent.

The pork was tender. The clams and shrimp, juicy and fresh. The chips - I don't like chips. But these were superb. Hot, crispy, certainly triple cooked. Really great chips. The white wine by the glass was a lovely accompaniment.

With this much fried food I didn't dare order a dessert too, though pretty much everyone else on the table did.

A cheap and cheerful meal, served expertly and with charm by a wonderfully friendly and welcoming team.

Was our first place in Lisbon after a long flight, randomly found it near by the bus stop and never regretted it!!😱😍 the sea food, fish and bread were amazing and fresh! Personal is great and helpful, and the whole atmosphere is so so real and authentic! Come and try! They have tasty desserts too ;)

Very good traditional Portuguese food, fast service, friendly staff, delicious food and excellent prices. I went a few times during my stay and will definitely come again next time!
