The service was quite fast and the staff was very friendly.
I was truly astounded by the food. It is clear that all the ingredients are prime high quality, the seafood is super fresh and everything is cooked with genuine love.
I especially enjoyed the octopus tentacles: it was very tender, it could almost melt in your mouth but still had great texture.
The seafood stew was also great: super fresh and the soup itself was incredible, I couldn’t stop dipping bread in it to keep enjoying it.

If you like seafood, this is the place to go.

Simply delicious. The Polvo a Lagareiro was very tasteful and I really liked the twist about the potatoes (mashed but fried and salted the skin). Nice portion for the moderate price. Waited about 15 minutes for the order to be ready. Definitely recommended. Credit cards accepted.

The passion fruit dessert was amazing. Menu of the day is great value. Great food.

Kind of difficult to choose what to order in the Time Out market. This caught my attention with the seafood menu they offered. Really fresh and delicious octopus. The atmosphere in the Time Out market is incredible as well.

The seafood here is absolutely superb. Great quality ingredients, well prepared and presented. They have a rotating menu of daily specials for 10.90 euros, today's was seafood rice (close to risotto but maybe a bit soupier). It was wonderful - such rich and deep flavor, without resorting to a ton of butter or salt. I liked it so much I decided to get another dish, the baked cod, which was also great. I was of course totally full at this point, or I would've gotten the octopus, too, as it looked fantastic.

I've gotten food from 4 different places in the Time Out Market, all were good, but this was the best, BY FAR. Don't miss it!

We had a hard time choosing where to eat and just took a chance on one. What a wonderful choice! We ate the seafood risotto and it was one of the tastiest dishes we’ve had.

To be honest, I was expecting it to be a tourist trap but the food was actually really good. The octopus was perfectly grilled and tender, the mashed potato very well seasoned. The portion is quite generous ! I would definitely go back.

Food was fresh, well seasoned, good range of flavours, and clean (not stodgy). Only 4/5 as the octopus fritterd had a lot going on, which meant the octopus was a bit hidden amongst the other flavours. If you want 🐙 the salad might be a better option. Service was impeccable, friendly and very helpful.

Love the place. I ordered the crab and guacamole also but forgot to photo that. Octopus it’s very soft, great mashed potato and the potato skin up top it’s so crunchy and tasty too. Codfish risotto it’s amazing. Overall good experience at the food hall.

We ordered today’s special, which was codfish fritters with tomato & bean rice and it was good! I thought the codfish fritters were going to be small but was surprised that it was a decent size — plus you get 3! The bean and tomato rice was good too. You will definitely get full from this meal! I recommend :)

Once you get in to the market, you get to notice that lots of people are going for grilled octopus.
We were quite tempted and looked for it as well. We found out that it was Marlene Vieira’s cuisine. Just for a variety we also got an roasted beef.

Grilled octopus; it was amazing! It wasn’t chewy, still holds the taste of the octopus and the smoked barbeque. It is served with mashed potatoes underneath. I have one suggestion, maybe mashed potatoes could be enriched with sweet lime or lemon.

Roast beef was very well cooked. I asked for mid rare and that’s what i got :) It is served with baked potatoes, caramelised onions and spinach. The portion was huge! I barely finished it.

So, we recommend to visit Marlene’s spot.

The seafood risotto was the best I've had in Lisbon—creamy and rich with the perfect tart kick of lemon. It also came hot and fresh. The meal of the day was the cod fritters; less hot but very generous in portion. I thought the fritters were underseasoned at first, but they were perfect dipped in the tomato rice and beans. During the lunch rush at 2pm, we waited nearly ten minutes, but it was a shorter wait than the other stalls selling seafood dishes.

The cod fish risotto was amazing. Delicious!

Had the famous grilled octopus, beef and cod dishes and they are all very tasty. The octopus and beef are tender and delicious, and the potatoes are well seasoned. The purée with the cod are scrumptious 😋

Very nice range of Portuguese cuisine. Menu of the day is the most appealing, affordable option to dine here, they are fixed for particular weekdays and each of them sounds like it's worth a try.
We had codfish fritters with tomato and beans rice (as it was Tuesday) and it turned out delightful, properly sized to be stuffing after a whole day of travel and - above all - as local as it could get. We were served very fast, and the drinks were also large by default, so no ripoffs here.
Would gladly come back.

To be honest, I’d had dinner elsewhere in the Time Out Market but came here for dessert because their tarts had caught my eye.

Ohmygoodness, the lemon and hazelnut tart I had was SO good!! I’ve given this place 5 stars off the basis of that one tart but looking at the other reviews, I wish that I had gotten my dinner here too.

Everything looks and sounds good. I will definitely eat here (dinner *and* dessert, the next time I am in Lisbon)

Excellent. The octopus on mashed potato with spinach leaves is their signature dish — a tad expensive but absolutely worth it. It’s cooked to perfection, bringing out the flavours of the sea nicely with the mashed potato serving as great contrast. Definitely worth checking out, some of the best place on the market.

Crispy pork with potatoes and onions. Perfectly prepared and delicious.
