The owner and restaurants background story/history, her education, her time in Indian and Portugal's history through south asia plus location of restaurant are so nicely tied through Malaca, old printing machines still in the restaurant make for such an interesting interior. This is an Asian fusion restaurant, including Thai, Malaysian and Indian, with good vegetarian options (clearly marked with a green logo). There were amazing desserts and really friendly service. We had the very creamy burnt cheesecake, and the yummy rice pudding (black wild rice with palm syrup and coconut milk), which was served warm with a nice balance of coconut, and not too sweet. Highly recommend. Wish they were located in London too!

LOVE!
I went to the LX factory and was really disappointed with the whole experience.

The only good thing that came out of it was finding this restaurant! The food was delicious & I would have gone there more than once if it was closer to where I was staying.

The actual layout of the restaurant is so interesting it’s sort of what I think is an old pressing machine factory. It’s so quirky.

Would recommend if going to the LX factory

Well, this place is set in an ancient printing factory, the scene is awesome, sitting next to a great book shop (other half of the printing press factory). The staff was lovely and helpful in the choice of wine and dishes. And as for the food, it was just delicious. Having lived in different Asian countries for years, I don't understand the negative comments I read here. Or maybe they took good notice of it and improved, which is by itself an achievement whose consequences I was able to witness tonight. Yes : great experience!

It doesn't taste like condiments. It's a real homemade flavor.
It's out of 100.~~

Amazing food that has some spice and flavor, compared to what you get all around Lisbon. The food choices are predominantly Asian. Very friendly service!

Of a rare kindness and generosity with the clientele, two qualities that are also found on the plates

Very fragrant dish subtly seasoned with aromatic palettes

The concept of the restaurant is also very innovative

I recommend this place 200%

Opinion of a French amateur in cooking and travel 🙂👌

Very good service and great atmosphere. The waiter was very nice and polite and found out for me about allergens in their Vietnamese rolls even though I didn’t ask him, so that to make sure it’s suitable for vegans (it wasn’t btw)
The interior is superb, I liked the raw factory style. I really liked the food, though I didn’t order much. A wide range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on the menu.

The food is a perfect blend of Asian flavours, both original and delicate which in turn are served by some of the among top 10 nicest staff in Lisbon, in-between the orange paper feeding mechanism of a huge newspaper printing machine, pointed by crystal chandeliers over stainless steel tables where colourful industrial chairs rest. The best if the fish with ginger, as something unique and although not for all, but if you like it then it's unforgettable. All of this inside a 2 story bookstore, in the LX factory super interesting industrial site.

The best Malaysian cuisine you could get in Lisbon.Food was inexpensive as a there is a lunch meal promotion from Monday to Friday at the price of 9.90 euros and the menu goes in a rotation and the food isn't spicy for those who couldn't eat spicy .Waiters were nice and pleasant, the place is something nobody would expect a restaurant to be as it has industrial machinery in in and tables around it but the environment was nice, food might take up to 30 minutes but it is worth the wait. The only thing that can be improved is cleanses of the place on the side walls and the window sills as my previous visit to the place i was sitting near the window and there was finger nails which kind of lessened my appetite.Other than that all was fine and there are various dish to choose from.
