Tasquinha da Mitas

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tasquinha da Mitas in Tomar, Portugal and was impressed. The restaurant boasts a cozy yet stylish ambiance with good lighting and charming defor. Every dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor.

To top it all off, the restaurant offers a view of the river, making for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch with friends, Tasquinha da Mitas is the perfect spot.

Really good service and food. The owner is very attentive to customers. Small place with a few tables inside and outdoors. Very good selection of wine and beer. Highly recommend.

I did not have high hopes when they handed me a menu printed in English but I was 100% wrong. This place serves inventive twists on standard Portuguese cuisine. The octopus was fork tender and the migas it sat upon was the best I have had since moving to Portugal almost two years ago. The secretos do porco preto was perfectly cooked. It was charred on the tips but still juicy on the inside. The rice pilaf that came with the pork was a welcome change to the standard plain rice served in every other restaurant. Next time we are in Tomar, we are coming back.

The food is great and so is the service. We had the Bacalhau à Brás and Polvo à Lagareiro, both were delicious!

This was one of our favorite restaurants in all our two weeks in Portugal!! The food was phenomenal, the service was warm, friendly, and prompt and the atmosphere was second to none. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment!

Had an amazing meal here during a stop along the Camino.
There is an English menu if you’re unable to read Portugues, the food is amazing, and the staff are beyond kind. I had a bit of a wait to be seated at lunch hour, but that just speaks to the popularity of the restaurant amongst locals. If the cookie cake is available for dessert you must get it!

Lovely little restaurant, Staff had timing of service absolutely perfectly. The food was perfect. I had steak, which was cooked exactly as I asked.
