Amazing hike and climbing opertunites, rock faces are kind of hard to find and get too, use the "TheCrag" if your struggling to find the approaches 10/10 would go again (most walls require 60m rope)

Really nice hike! It’s a fun path and will take you to beautiful views. Absolutely worth it :) it gets busy at the parking on Saturdays but er managed just fine! Bring sunscreen and enough water!

Brilliant spot for a short hike or trail run. By parking up at the nearby Bar das Grutas you can complete this 4 mile loop in around 2 hours taking in great views of the surrounding countryside. The going can be steep and / or rocky but the trail is very well marked. Bring plenty of water if visiting during hot weather.

Wonderful walk. Not long but a fairly steep climb up. Worth it for the views and flowers.

A moderate 6km hike with fabulous views from the top in every direction. We loved it

Delightful two hour circular hill walk in the Algarve countryside. Don't expect to be on your own, as it is quite popular. No public toilets. The bar/café Grutas at the start/end does a basic offering, but their English is limited.

Nice place to spend a hot day if you like hiking. This hike is very easy, the heat can be a challenge

Excellent loop walk! Well maintained and clearly marked. Great views from the top, but also interesting scenery along the way, including the little town that you walk by (Penina).

Not strenuous (<2 hours), but it will depend on the weather... good shoes will definitely help.

Great loop walk, well sign posted. Lovely scenery. It took less than 2 hours 30mins & that included going off the trail to see the 2 different viewing points which are sign posted.

Amazing limestone crag with many sectors and routes. Not everything is well marked which made us waste some time in finding. But if you do your homework it is not so difficult to find things. We went for a short trip of 5 days in new year eve and got very cozy sunny days.

Beautiful place to walk. It is sometimes hard to walk over the rocks, especially if it had just rained.

Very peaceful place with some nice routes that you'll have to figure out how to find.

Lots of climbs of different difficulties. Not that well marked and the 1.5 walk in can be quite the struggle. All south facing with little shade.

Need decent outdoor boots, even in Winter take plenty of water. Stunning views. I'm glad I walked up from Rocha da Penna. Some parking spaces there and soon on the top. Going East is quieter.. retrace steps going sort of anti clockwise. The wall of the Moors needs care over the the loose boulders but worth the reaching the North End Cairns for the views. The trail soon disappears here. Retrace and get back on the path that hugs the cliff line for great views.

Magnificent mountain plateau with nice views to the north and south, and most mystically the ruins of two long fortification walls from the iron age, 2500 years ago, one of them not easy to find. Something for explorers

Magnificent place for a good walk. Well preserved area. Landscape to die for at the top. The talefe viewpoint is difficult to access but it is worth the effort
