Indian Taj

Went here with the family. The food smelled amazing before I’d even had a chance to eat it. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and put the football on for me and my son. The price was great value for money. 100% recommend.

Amazing curry, genuine Nepalese cooking, the best I have had since I spent 3 weeks in Nepal 10years ago. Lovely welcoming staff. I mentioned I was vegan when asking about the naan bread and whether it was butter or oil on the garlic naan, the lovely server advised me that there might be milk in the dough so suggested kindly I have rice. My wife and I shared the vegetable samosa and veg pakoda to start. They were both wonderful and fresh, the spice mixes were superb. I then had the aloo modi tama which again, had a superb spice blend. I had the mild which gave a little gentle heat whilst being very tasty. My wife had the chicken makhani which she described as rich and creamy with succulent chicken having been cooked in the tandoor.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, if we were staying longer we would definitely visit again. We both had a fabulous meal and I will happily recommend to anyone. The food was very good quality for a good price too.

We have been in Albufeira for a few days and we have dined here and had take away multiple times. The food is absolutely beautiful and traditional and the staff are very kind and welcoming. I recommend this place to everybody.

Busy outdoor restaurant with wide range of delicious Indian and Nepalese dishes to suit all tastes. Freshly prepared food. Good value. Children's menu. Friendly staff.

Just been to this restaurant with the wife, had a lovely meal one of the best Indians we’ve eaten the sheek kebab was lovely along with the chicken Rogan Josh.

We just dined here tonight from Ireland and could not fault the food. It was so delicious and the service was fantastic. It was a great unexpected find.

Fantastic place for vegetarians. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are very professional. The food is amazing and i recommend it to everybody.

Very very good Indian and Nepalese food and a very nice service. Can recommend this more than any other restaurant in the area.

I was really impressed by the the food they served me here. They have a pretty extensive menu of Nepalese, Indian and Thai cuisine, but I'd asked for a Nepalese dish (vegetable momo) which was not on the menu. Not only did they make it for me but it was absolutely delicious. I get the feeling that these people really know how to cook. Highly recommended.

Ps. They didn't skimp on the decor either & the staff are very friendly.

Very nice food and good service! We took the Indian menu for 13 euro per person, which includes a starter (2 choices), a main dish (several choices) and a small drink (small soft drink, a glass of wine or a small beer). We were hungry so we ordered extra naan, but this was definitely not necessary, considering the amount of food already included in the menu. We ate more than we could actually eat, because the food was so tasty. Also the owner and his wife are really kind and were very interested in us. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Visited last night for the first time. Warm welcome on arrival. Nice outside. Good simple selection on the menu for all tastes and advised on what to have when ordering. Service was good and didn't have to wait too long for food. Food was excellent and good value for money. Would highly recommend and will return again when next on holiday.

I don’t normally leave a review but the lovely family at Indian Taj looked after us so kindly on each of our visits that I simply couldn’t miss the chance to thank them. The food is beautiful and the service is impeccable. You won’t be disappointed and we would recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

We went tonight for a meal (18/09/2023) I had the chicken tikke masala and my wife had the butter chicken and hand on heart was the best I have ever had. We also had starters of onion bhajis and the lamb tikka again both we beautiful.

The couple that run this place were lovely, so friendly, very chatty and attentive and we will definitely return.

Give this place a try if you are looking for good food by lovely people.

Dined in. The owner waited on and served us and couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. We had samosa, fried onions, lamb saag, chicken lentil curry with egg and mushroom rice and garlic naan. All was excellent and nothing was left behind. Highly recommend
