Restaurante Portelas

Excellent food at a great price. Highly recommend the cod and grilled salmon. The location was perfect with nice views of the beach. It was busy when we arrived and took an hour to get our food after was ordered. Attached is the menu.

One of my favourite spots in the region. Awesome fish and seafood, we had robalo, octopus and desserts which are delicious. Food is of top quality, very friendly staff, affordable prices, local atmosphere, nicely located.

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The owners were not only welcoming but also lovely to interact with. We had seafood rice and grilled fish and it was very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice view and good place and service

São Jacinto is a beautiful and simple place influenced by the fishing life.
This restaurant is a personification of that reality.

When we pulled up we nearly drove on. However we live in Portugal and know that some of the best places don't look much from the outside. So glad we stopped. We had fantastic whole grilled sea bass and whole grilled sea bream (robelo and dourada) served with portuguese vegetables and delicious grill roasted potatoes. The grilling of the fish was perfect, moist and charred in the right places. Fish was on the bone but cut in a way so you didn't need to flip it to eat it. They also have great dessert with my wife loving the camel drool ( google it). All in all a great typically Portuguese meal. Simple and delicious.

This is an amazing restaurant !!!! The food is great in all, the view to the Aveiro River/Sea is magic, the bartenders are very friendly, the atmosphere superb and the place .......well just come and taste. Highlight recommended 👌👏👍

Fabulous food, great staff- thank you Diogo- we just had a wonderful night here. Rounding off our weekend visit to the area, our visit to Restaurante Portelas was saving the best until last. Having been dissapointed with the apathetic service of one particular restaurant on the esplanade in São Jacinto on a previous night, Restaurante Portelas was a confirmation of how things should work. Very nice place with huge portions and fair price. Wide fish menu.

We ran out of time to have lunch and we ended up in this beautiful place, with amazing fresh food, delighful and soo delicious and we were cater by the kindest people. Thx!! :)
