Churrasqueira Adega dos Unidos

Absolute hidden gem! We stopped to eat on our last day in Lisbon and couldn't have picked a better spot. The churrasqueira was incredible, the owner/staff spoke english very well and were the friendliest and most accommodating of our entire trip. The outdoor seating area is picturesque. A true local restaurant and one we would go out of our way to visit again!

This is a rare gem located in a non tourist and quite neighborhood and we highly recommend for Lisbon visitor and tourist to try this amazing BBQ! We tried roasted chicken with homemade source and pork ribs with “Pili Pili” spicy source. Both are delicious and definitely one of the best BBQ we have ever had!

This place is a hidden gem! The food was out of this world (we got the whole chicken meal plus a kebab) and the owner was so friendly and helpful! He was very knowledgeable walking us through our choices, offered free drinks and extras, and spoke excellent English. 10/10 experience if you’re wanting to try churrasco in Lisbon (and you should!)

This was by far, the most incredible chicken peri peri experience in Portugal. We arrived late, the owner was busy closing shop and had one delicious chicken on the fire meant for his family. He gave it to us. Along with lots of care and wonderful conversation. A bit of drive from the Centre, but a must! We’ll visit again for sure!

My wife and I had the half chicken each. Great food and great service. Amazing way to end our trip in Portugal. Highly recommend and the staff even helped us with directions to find the local metro.

It’s our last day visiting Lisboa and we stopped by this lovely place for lunch. A tiny eatery around the corner of a local neighborhood it’s quiet and not touristy at all. So you can expect high quality grills at a reasonable price. Juicy chicken and ribs seasoned to perfection. Very friendly owner. Speaks English. It’s small and basically a take-out service, but you’ll get the best food.

One of the best meals I had in Lisbon. A small local take away joint with a few seats outside, offering some authentic Portuguese churrasco. The service was excellent. An all round wonderful experience.

We were looking for an authentic Portuguese barbecue experience and we found it here. The food was delicious, everything was spot on. (One of the best BBQ I had in my life actually).
The staff were so kind, patient and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant 100%. If the place seems a bit far from the city center, don't worry, the metro will bring you very close to the restaurant! Enjoy your meal like I did ! :)

This restaurant is great, if you are looking for a delicious Churrasqueria, this is the place. We tried the chicken, kabob and sausage. They were all excellent. The service was also top notch and overall it was our best dining experience in Lisbon.

Nice food, nice service and prices are nice. The owner is very nice and puts tables for us to eat outside. The quality is very good and the owner speaks english and spoke nicely with us. Will come back if I can !

If you’re walking through this neighbourhood and wondering where the delicious smell is coming from, this is the place. The owner was charming and spoke great English, and the food was amazing; probably the best grilled chicken I’ve had in my life.

Looked for a good churrasqueira for a few days since arriving in Portugal. The chicken and especially kabab with piripiri were fantastic! The service was the best we have experienced. He was very friendly and personable with very good English. It is a cash only establishment with multiple ATM close and convenient. Great value and inexpensive for high-quality food. The friendly personality and good made for the best meal we have had in Portugal.

After a long day of touring the city, my family and I happened upon this gem of local gastronomy. The service was amazing, the owner was pleasant, warm and made us feel truly welcome. The food was some of the best we have experienced in Lisbon to date, the chicken was exceptional! I highly recommend this spot for anyone who is in the area, if your experience is even half as good as ours, you will not regret it.

This place is such a hidden gem. The food is super authentic. My wife had the chicken and I had the ribs. Both were seasoned very well with their homemade seasonings, food cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding and extremely welcoming. I highly recommend this place for some authentic eats! 👌

We ate a fabulous grilled chicken marinated with a special and unique homemade sauce, as a side we had delicious rice and french fries. I can just recommend it, chicken was flavourful, tender and juicy!
We also had traditional Portuguese beer and homemade desserts that together with hospitality of Arturo, just highlighted the entire Adega Churrasqueria experience.

Tried out Churrasqueira Adega as it was close by our hotel and we were in the mood for some barbecue chicken. We were not disappointed. Everything was perfect! The chicken was moist and flavourful-you can choose from piri piri sauce or a lemon based sauce or both. The fresh homemade fries were great and the salad was fresh. Also, the owner was so friendly and helpful (we don’t speak much Portuguese yet but he spoke perfect English). There are a few outdoor tables should you wish to eat your meal on the patio. Otherwise take-out is available. Highly recommended!
