Nova Pombalina

This restaurant was exactly what we needed. Fresh, delicious and fast service. So clean and friendly as well. We ordered a recommended juice, two cappuccinos, a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, apple cake and egg and ham sandwich. Everything was so good. No lines and excellent experience.

Quick service, not expensive, simple but very tasty and fresh. Went there for breakfast every morning of our stay in Lisboa. :-)

A surprise gem in the midst of tourist traps and barkers. The piglet (cochinillo) sandwich was so tasty and tender, and the bread just crunch perfect. The orange juices were as fresh as one can get. Service was so rapid that we barely finished ordering and our food was ready in a couple of minutes. The price was surprisingly cheap too!

Just what we needed. Delicious meat (suckling pig) in fresh bread. Fast, friendly service. Great place to stop off and would come again. Cash only though - there's a cash machine over the road.

Nova is definitely a hidden germs in Lisbon. The sandwiches are freshly made and soups are delicious. It is a perfect place for a quick delicious bites to start a day. Highly recommended.

Fast, no nonsense. We got 2 pork Sandwiches and two beers. It is what it is nothing fancy but the food was good. Just my kinda place. Nip in and get a pork sandwich, I doubt you’ll regret it.

Real place among all this touristic cafes and restaurants in the area. Good prices, nice staff,pasteis de Bacalhau just mniam mniam. Highly recommend. The taste of Portugal

Currently on day 1 of my trip and already planning to go back. Had the paparazzi Sandwich & pineapple/ginger/mint juice.

Amazing place! Juice and bread so fresh. Staff so efficient that you are out in 5minutes if you are in a hurry. Vegetarian sandwich “Paparazzi” is great! Also the traditional bachalau cakes! Wish I could give this place six stars!

Good place for a quick bite. This is an ideal spot when you are just exploring the Alfama. Sandwiches are really good and the service is fast. Plus: bathrooms are so clean.

Great restaurant, best place for quick and fresh sandwich. Only 1 minutes to get what you have ordered. I have ordered vegetarian sandwich and tropical fruit juice.

Highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast if you want a quick breakfast or if you want to sit down. The egg sandwiches were awesome. My husband got the Serrano ham and I had the sausage. Both were excellent. The bread was so soft and the cappuccino was great! Very friendly to American tourists. Don't forget to try a few pastries before you leave!

The sandwiches where very good! All the sandwiches are under €5. We also had desserts. Chocolate mousse and banana cake, both where delicious!
The homemade lemonade was tasty. We really enjoyed our meals and drinks here

This ended up being our go-to place for breakfast and a coffee. Very simple, many locals, good food, and seating available in the morning. The menu is fairly simply including pastries, excellent fresh-squeezed orange juice, and wonderful coffee. We did both dine in and take away. Avoid the crowds and come here! Note: cash only

Great snack bar. Coffee and croissant from 07:30. Soup, rolls at lunchtime. Suckling pig roll was fabulous.

Best samosa we've ever had. Try the chilli sauce.

Very nice service! Forgot cash in my hotel and they were nice about it! They are cash only. Coffee is strong and good!
