Absolute gem of a place. Incredible food. The best salmon steak I’ve ever had, and shockingly low prices. Homely local atmosphere.

This is unique, cheap and perfect place to eat and feel original atmosphere. We love the restaurant and the owner with all the virtues an faults. This is exactly what gives authenticity to restaurant.

Recently moved to this neighbour and found this little gem next to my house. Best value and best tasca experience ever.

Seats maximum of 24. Expect to share tables. Fantastic simple food. We had 1 steak 1 salmon 2 puddings 2 beers 2 cokes for under €25. Incredible value. Queue outside as so as popular.

Small and authentic Portuguese restaurant with very delicious and well seasoned dishes. Lulas/squids cooked on the BBQ with garlic butter potatoes and broccoli. Delicious!

We stumbled upon Alfredo's at around 8pm on the night of our arrival in Lisboa. We were tired, chilled, and in need of real food. A bowl of delicious homemade soup, fresh bread, and a 1/2 litre of house wine in this small, local restaurant were perfect!

If you want to eat real food come here. Leave every "ikea" decorated restaurant behind and just come. Mr Alfredo is the right guy to make you cry out of real food. This food makes you feel you are hugging your grandmother. Enjoy.

Ps: if he doesnt understand you, just go for "whatever you want to give me"/ "o que quiser"

A super nice and delicious restaurant in Lisbon. High quality food with unexpectedly cheap price compared to London. The restaurant owner is friendly as well. Definitely recommend it!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing authentic Portuguese food. We had codfish, octopus, sausage, desserts and drinks for €20. No English menu but all the meats/fish are displayed in a fridge so you can just point at them. Or maybe you’ll get lucky like us and there will be an English speaker eating there.

It is real food with the taste of barbecue-roastes smell.

Amazing! Good food! Everybody is kind

A good place to have a sample of portuguese food, there's a bit of everything, fish, meat and vegetables. The portions are alright and the price is cheap. So don't expect any refinements, the place is small and it feels a bit old, but the food is solid althought not spetacular. For the price it is a good deal.

The owner is the waiter so he knows everything about the restaurant. Don't hesitate to ask him about specials and which plates are out of the menu at the moment.

Outstanding. Intimate setting. Super local. Obviously traditional recipes. Be prepared to wait for a table. Possibly the best value in Lisbon. Gotta go.
