Pingo Doce São Brás de Alportel

We were absolutely amazed with bocadillos we got there. The best were once mad from cod fish. Fresh and tasty.

Although normally I prefer Lidl there is always something at Pingo that I need to buy, today the Nico white wine only 1.69 euro !! and one of the few places that I can buy fresh lactose free milk and the fresh bread is as good as anyone's.

Excellent lovely modern supermarket, fish counter will clean your fish and the butcher will cut the meat to your liking.
Prices are low and the quality is high.
Most staff speak some English.
Highly recommended.

Pingo Doce supermarkets are great, they're my favourite. They've got everything I want and the prices are good.

It's like a supermarket but smaller. Tasty coffee and tiny cakes for one euro pound
