One could be forgiven for thinking they’ve traveled back in time at this establishment. But fear not you haven’t!! It’s just old school service, old school polish cuisine.

Everything was perfect (try the meatball soup) - the only question left is how to get our photo added to the wall.

The best place to eat in Torun!

Best meal I've had in Toruń by a long shot. Recommended by a local and didn't dissapoint. Really nice decor, lovely friendly staff, and food to die for*. Traditional Polish cuisine with a delicate contemporary twist. Can't get better than this. Make sure to go up the stairs and not into the other restaurant, like the numpty I am initially did.

Highly recommend you visit here while visiting Toruń. Very reasonable prices, food was great, and decent portion sizes. Service was also good and very efficient. Very cool atmosphere, feels like you're in the mountains :)

Nice and tasty, also not expensive - most dishes around 20 zloty (4-5 €), I took ribs (only 8 zloty) and sausage soup. Soup was really tasty, Polish dish for sure, ribs - sweet onions sauce quite unusual for me, but overall good as well.

Great restaurant with a good atmosphere. The prices are ok for this quality. Very delicious food and good portions. The staff was not the kindest i have ever met, but it was ok.

If you are visiting Torun, you need to eat at this place. It's where large groups of locals go for great meals. The upstairs dining was more interesting that the outdoor seating when we were there in early May. Meat is grilled on a charcoal grill and plate sizes are large. The sour soup was outstanding. The roasted potatoes with dinner (note, small add on charge) were simply amazing. We loved our meal.

Great food! As Torun is famous for geese meat meals, in Karczma I've had one of the most remarkable meat dishes in Poland.

Nice and very good food, with most of the menu based on goose meat, but not only.
It is probably to only one which had a good menu for the kids in the city, and not expensive.
The place has indoors and outdoors, at some point it can be confusing to see people waiting to be seated, but would be a queue for the outdoors area, just need to go and have a look indoor whether there are any available spaces.

Damn this restaurant is sooo good! A local took us here for drinks and dinner and we feasted. The soups, meats and deserts are outstanding. They really have a wonderful standard. We hope to return again as this town and especially this restaurant are well worth a return

Best czernina in all of Poland.

Great selection of beer and wine, food is absolutely amazing. Staff are very friendly and efficient. As an English guy on holiday in Poland this is the perfect Polish food experience. Amazing 5 stars.

Loved this restaurant. It was my hubby's birthday, had dinner with my family. It was tasty and delicious food.

Great food, nice service. Duck legs were lovely and tender, deer stew was amazing. And the duck blood soup was spot on. Very nice!
