A phenomenal piece of architecture. Jewel of Chiniot, indeed. You just visit there and you would be mesmerized with its beauty. Although it's been a victim of decay and neglect yet I'm sure you are going to love it. The living proof craftsmanship of Chinioti Furniture Makers.

Place worth visiting ! But visit early morning as streets are narrow and crowded at noon. The guide was a nice buy.

This is a historical place in chanioot city which made by sheik Umar e hayat in 1935. Before 2 month of the finalised this palace sheik Umar e hayat was died. Imaginary wood designing done in this palace. This is a very costly place made by 4 lakh on that time .

It's a historic place, which was build in between 1921-1930 ,it's a resident of umar hayat , and it cost 4 lacs and some thousand at that time

Very old building. Built in 1930 by the rich and famous trader of chinniot Sheikh Umar Hayat. Very beautiful building.

The mansion was started in 1923, and was completed by 1935. The mansion, originally 5-storeys tall,[3] was built by Sheikh Omar Hayat - a Chinioti businessman who had made his fortune in Calcutta.[4] The edifice displays outstanding examples of Chiniot's local woodworking style, and has been described as an "ornament" of a building on account of its lavishly decorated interior.[4]
