Ibn al Shaam, a Syrian restaurant that opened in Gulberg. This was my second visit and came to know they diversified the menu as not all customers were fond of Syrian/ Arabic food. Anyhow, we ordered Hummus kabsa, shawarma platter, steak and BBQ.

Hummus turned out excellent in flavour. Shawarma was good too. Steak was ordered by a friend and it tasted good. Sauce tasted very flavorful. BBQ being shared had good taste. Chops and kebab were really nice.

Had umme ali and Kunafa in dessert. I would suggest them please dont remove Syria cuisine from the menu, we already have many other options in the city but not Syrian.

I would rate 5 for the peaceful yet gorgeous ambience.. staff n services were beyond 5.. every single person in staff was so professional n well mannered. Cleanliness was at its peak.
Coming towards the food. I had hummus with mutton qorma 4/5. Fatoush was excellent.. I never had like that before 6/5. Lamb Mandi was also so good.. very tender meat but I think they need to increase portion of meat in mandi.. Arabic shawarma was good enough 5/5.
Presentation was so on point. I had a great experience overall.

Had lunch at Ibn al Shaam today. It was a great experience. They had true authentic middle eastern food. We ordered hummus, chicken shawarma, shish tawook and chicken mandi. All the dishes had amazing taste. The chicken mandi was sightly bland but the sauce provided with it more than made up for it.

We were served complimentary iced peach tea which had a refreshing taste. Another great plus point was that unlike every other place that I've visited, they didn't charge extra for refill of khubas(bread). The food arrived extremely quick and their service time was amazing. There was at least one water to attend to our table at any given time.

The ambiance was amazing, the building looked and felt middle eastern from both outside and inside. The lighting, environmentand and art, all were impeccable.

Overall it was a great experience and highly recommended to anyone wanting to try middle eastern cuisine.

One of very best in atmosphere restaurant in the area of Gullberg Lahore. Wonderful location , very silent and clean place for enjoying tasty food. Its also very good for families. Everyone must try it when ever possible. Very good staff. Well maintained faculty.

Absolutely loved the food!! As a person who has lived in Middle East for over 10 years, getting these flavours in Lahore was mind-blowing experience!!
The service was amazing and staff was kind and accommodating!
Moreover, I would like the highlight that they had a cooler plugged in outside for the guards this hot weather, I would like the appreciate this kindness towards their own.
My mother absolutely loved it, I can't wait to visit again!

What a vibe! Their rooftop courtyard is a one of its kind aesthetic place in Lahore. I mean its a great idea, cover the courtyard (or its a terrace may be) and put air-conditioning inside and voila. You have a great place to serve and the feel of outdoors at the same time specially in this harsh weather.
Coming to the food, I must say its not everyone's choice. Locals don't appreciate the Arabian food but these guys have a different taste. Their mandi, madfoon and maqlooba all tasted different and even the rice were cooked different for each of these dishes. Normally people serve those plain pulao type rice but these guys make the rice for each dish accordingly and they all taste different.
Mutton was well cooked and tender and so was the juicy chicken. Kebabs were a bit dry but not bad, so let's give them a chance for it. But overall its a great place with nice taste if you're up for some Arabic food.

Recently I went to Ibn Al-sham its a hidden gem in Lahore. The ambiance there is absolutely stunning, with cozy seating, warm lighting, and beautiful decor that will transport you to a different world. The menu offers a wide range of delicious treats, from arabic food, syiran food to buffet and much more to . Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to work or a cozy place to catch up with friends, ibne al shaam is the perfect choice. A very underrated gem in Gulberg, Lahore. The food is very different and light on the belly. I had a great time with my friends. The staff is courteous and well mannered. The presentation of food and the overall ambience of the place is on point! I would highly recommend it!

Ibn Al Shaam was a delightful experience overall. We loved the mandi and mini fatayer saware, which were bursting with flavor. The shawarma was also fantastic. However, the falafel fell short of expectations. Despite that, we highly recommend exploring the richness of Ibn Al Shaam. ✨❤

The Best thing about This restaurant is that they present Syrian food with it's authentic flavours and ingredients and don't try to make it Pakistani like other places Also food proportions are generous

This was the most Syrian vibe and taste in Pakistan.
The chef is well known in UAE and Syria.
The team of chefs also syrians.
Food is good, service is nice.
High priced but worthy.

Overall a really good experience at ibn al sham.

The taco was 9/10.
The Arabic salad was also so juicy and fresh.
Lamb mandi 7/10.
The chicken shawarma sandwich 8/10.
The sauce was also delicious and worth it.
The Mexican sandwich was 8/10.
And we ordered lemonades and in the end we ordered Arabic coffee which was yummy and perfectly strong to my taste.
Overall a really good experience ❤

Had an excellent time at Ibn al Shaam.
Wanted to try authentic lebanese and syrian food in Lahore for a while now and have finally found the place which has checked all the boxes for me and my wife.
Ordered Syrian Sambousek from hot mezza, from main course ;Mutton Zafran and cheese fatayar
Syrian symbosek had minced mutton with walnuts and special syrian masala. The spices were very well balanced and the quantity of minced mutton and cheese on top was enough to make you satiated.
Mutton Zafran was the star of the night. The mutton was tendor and rice were perfectly cooked and fluffy. The saffron and pine nuts in the rice made the whole experience of the dish delectable.
Cheese Fatayar is like a samosa but it’s made with puff pastry and the inside filling was of cheese. The cheese tasted like feta and paneer.
Nevertheless it was yummilicious
Overall enjoyed the food and ambiance is 11/10
And upon entering we were greeted with a very pleasing fragrance which added to the middle eastern vibes of the restaurant.
I am writing a long review of the restaurant because I really enjoyed the food and my time with family there and I hope the restaurant will maintain their standards in future as well.
