UOL is one of the best private university in Lahore. It has every demanding discipline of current demand by the youth. Its faculty is highly qualified and cooperative. Most of the students who come here to study get their ambitions fulfilled. However, it needs more and more hostel provisions because once you get fame you get more and more students from far and wide. It must also add the latest fields of studies especially Ph.D's programs. Moreover, IT department and security need improvement and upgradation continuously.

Fallen in love with this place. Actually its my institute and it's amazing n so much fun to be a part of it. Fabulous building, study level, very very cooperative Vice Chancellor (Dr. Asghar Zaidi), peaceful library, crowded grounds even everything is amazing about it. I'm learning n gonna learn new things every single day.

Behavior of people there is not too good with outsiders. Best place to spend your graduation years. First place to arrange Harry Potter fastival from last two years.

GC UNIVERSITY while being as old as time has a presence in its own. Learning at GCU you explore yourself in a very competitive environment. The grooming is the main thing. It grooms you into a responsible human being. Interaction with new fellows, chilling at Amphitheatre, sitting in love garden to just hanging out at cafes. It's all very surreal and the best part is the memories and friends you make along thw way.
Oh, and the study is also good.. 😂

Aesthetic place from its building but the quality of education is gonna be decreased day by day. Students are not well facilitated by administration. You can see the fee and the provided facilities, facilities are low as compared to the charges.

The Government College University Lahore formerly the Government College or GC has been and still a marvallous and iconic symbol of prestige, performance and pride. The history of the college dates back to pre independence period of the subcontinent. The college was established by the British Administration, both the curriculum and architecture based on anglo saxon and gothic principles.

The college was lately upgraded to University level in the year 2002 by the Government of the Punjab in wake of promoting Higher Education peractices in Pakistan.

The College has produced number of talented, extra ordinary and exemplary personalities that engraved strong influences on human society.

Famous poets, intellects, philosophers, scientists, politicians, bureaucrats, scholars and many many more in the world are the representatives of this great institution.

The famous poet, intellect, philosopher and scholar, Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal renowned Shair-e-Mashriq studied and taught at this great institution. He also aboded there during study life. Later on, one of the boys hostels is renamed as "Iqbal Hostel" located inside the Government College University premises.

Besides, some other notable personalities viz a viz Saadat Hassan Manto, Patres Bukhari, Sir Ganga Ram, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Bano Qudsia, Ashfaq Ahmad, Shoaib Hashmi and others were remained bright stars of the college.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE UNIVERSITY is a well known institution specially for intermediate studies. It is known for setting up the highest standard for the achievers and for all other colleges to follow.

I'm the student of Government College University Lahore. It is one of the old universities of Pakistan. Students come here for study from all over the Pakistan and even from abroad. It is also famous by its societies. Many international and well known athletes graduated from here.

The Government College, Lahore was raised to the status of a University in 2002. It was renamed as the GC University Lahore. The academic life here has been re-shaped in accordance with its new challenges and we hope to fulfill the expectations that go with a University. The GCU is committed to act as a promoter of quality education for all.

This Institution is one of the oldest seats of learning in the Muslim world. As a seat of higher learning GC University blends grand old traditions and modern educational standards to meet the ideals set by persons like Dr. Leitner, philosopher the poet, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal.

University has an amazing architecture unfortunately the cafe is below average standard of a university cafe and only has very limited options. The gardens and blocks are beautiful and makes you want to time travel. The building show amazing British architecture that is more than 200 years old but still strong due to restoration.

The most elegant and fascinating campus in Pakistan and undoubtedly the standard of education is unmatchable. Government College (now Government College University, Lahore is among the oldest Educational institutes in Pakistan. Currently offering diverse programs in different fields i.e. Science, Arts and Humanities, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, etc. GC University has recently taken a wonderful step to accommodate students on the basis of their ability not numbers.
