Hundreds of facilities for students. And also fee is very less as compare to other universities in Pakistan. Thousands of students are studying here. A huge love for Punjab university.

This place is love ❤ largest university of Pakistan with diverse range of faculties like arts, science, natural sciences, engineering etc. Hostels are available at other side of canal road. University has its own transportation department, own market, own food street and large play grounds. This is the best place for higher education as students from all across Pakistan come here and present a beautiful heritage of different cultures of Pakistan.

Best University in the Pakistan. I feel like its my second home. I graduated here since 2018 but whenever i visit my department my teachers warm welcome and give lots of prayers and best wishes for my future as well as the security guards uncle are also very friendly

The University of the Punjab was formally established with the convening of its first meeting of its senate on October 14, 1882 at Shimla. It was the fourth University to be established by the British Colonial Authorities on the Indian Subcontinent. The first three universities were establish by the British rulers at their initial strongholds of Bombay, Madras and Calcutta. The University of the Punjab came into existence as a result of long drawn struggle of the people of the Punjab after the war of independence in 1857. Contrary to the three previously established universities, which were only examining institutions, the University of the Punjab was both teaching as well as examining body right form the beginning.
